Firenze Waterpolo is an Italian water polo club from the city of Florence. Firenze is currently best known for its women's team, which was finalist of the 2013-14 LEN Trophy.

The club established in 1996 as Firenze Pallanuoto. In 2012 the club merged with Fiorentina Waterpolo and created Firenze Waterpolo. [1]

The 2007–08 LEN Women's Champions' Cup was the 21st edition of LEN's premier competition for women's water polo clubs, running from 29 November 2007 to 26 April 2008. Orizzonte Catania defeated NC Vouiagmeni to win its eighth title. Defending champion Fiorentina Waterpolo and ZVL Leiden also reached the newly introduced final four, which replaced the previous editions' round-robin final stage.

Felipe Perrone Rocha is a Spanish-Brazilian water polo player. He competed for Spain from 2003 until 2013, including in the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics. Afterwards he competed for his birth country in the 2016 Summer Olympics, as Brazil earned its first qualifying spot in 32 years as hosts. He helped Spanish water polo club CN Atlètic-Barceloneta win the LEN Champions League in 2013–14 season. His brother Ricardo Perrone also competed for Spain in water polo.

Daniel López Pinedo is a Spanish water polo goalkeeper who competed for the Spain men's national water polo team in two Summer Olympics (2012 London and 2016 Rio. He helped Spanish water polo club CN Atlètic-Barceloneta win the LEN Champions League in 2013–14 season. He is 6 ft 3 inches tall.

Ekaterina Valeryevna Prokofyeva is a Russian water polo player. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics for the Russian national team in the Women's event winning the bronze medal. She had previously competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.

Centre Natació Mataró is a Catalan sports club from Mataró, Barcelona created in 1932. It is active in swimming, water polo, table tennis and triathlon. The men's and women's water polo teams play in the División de Honor Masculina and the División de Honor Femenina respectively. The male team played LEN competitions for the first time in the 2003–04 LEN Trophy, while the female team made its debut in the 2009–10 LEN Trophy. They are also known respectively as Mataró Quadis and Mataró El Tot for sponsorship reasons. The women's table tennis section has also represented Spain in the ETTU Cup.

The 2021–22 Women's LEN Trophy is the 23rd edition of the European second-tier tournament for women's water polo clubs. It was a two-legged final that was played in Dunaújváros, Hungary, and Piraeus, Greece on 25 and 30 March 2022. Ethnikos won its second LEN Trophy to become the Greek team with the most titles regarding this competition.

Marta Colaiocco is an Italian water polo player and coach. She coached Fiorentina Waterpolo and Firenze Pallanuoto. She won a silver medal at 2011 FINA Women's Water Polo World League.
