Fissler is a company based in Germany that produces cookware items. Fissler's main products include pots, pans, and pressure cookers, knives; and kitchen accessories.
Fissler's history dates back to the 19th century with its introduction of the Goulash Cannon, a mobile field kitchen. In the 1920s Fissler came out with the first aluminum pans for electric stoves. In the 1950s Fissler introduced the first pressure cooker with a multi-setting control valve and the patented "Thematic" base.
Today, Fissler's pots and pans have an all-stove base, meaning that they can be used on any heating surface without warping or degrading. [1] Fissler also produces the CookStar Induction Pro, an induction cooking surface. Induction cooking uses electromagnetic technology to heat the pots and pans, without being hot to the touch. [2]

Trangia is a line of alcohol-burning portable stoves manufactured by Swedish company Trangia AB in Trångsviken. These stoves are designed primarily for backpackers, with a focus on light weight, durability and simple design. The company began in 1925, selling cookware. The Trangia stove was developed by 1951. Trangia stoves were initially preferred to kerosene (paraffin) pressure stoves because they required only one type of fuel. Trangia's selling point is that the entire packaged stove, including pots, is not significantly larger than a standard camp cooking pot. For this reason the Trangia has retained much of its popularity despite the development of alternative stove fuels and designs.

Cousances was a brand of enameled cast iron cookware. originally manufactured by a foundry in the town of Cousances-les-Forges in northeastern France. The Cousances foundry began making cast iron pans in 1553. Four centuries later, in 1957, the brand was acquired by Le Creuset. Cookware under the Cousances brand continued to be manufactured by Le Creuset into the early 1980s.
