The Lux Style Awards is an award ceremony which is held annually in Pakistan since 2002. The ceremony celebrates "style" in the Pakistani entertainment industry, such as cinema, television, fashion, music, sports and film industry. Categories have changed over the years, but most are awarded by panels of judges who are experts in the respective industries, with some "people's choice" awards in the film and TV categories.

Mehwish Hayat is a Pakistani actress who primarily works in Urdu films and formerly in television. She made her debut in the film with comedy Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (2015) and later went on to Actor in Law (2016). Hayat is since starred in comedies Punjab Nahi Jaungi (2017), Load Wedding (2018) and London Nahi Jaunga (2022) all of which rank among one of highest-grossing Pakistani films.
The 14th Lux Style Awards ceremony, presented by Lux to honor the fashion, music, films and Pakistani television of 2014 was held on 30 September 2015 beginning at 8:30 p.m PST. For this year ceremony no nominations were made for terrestrial and satellite categories in Television section as no satisfied entries for respective portfolios were submitted.
UrwaTul Wusqua Hussain, better known by her stage name Urwa Hocane is a Pakistani actress, model and media personality. She made her acting debut with Khushboo Ka Ghar as Rukhsana in 2012. Na Maloom Afraad, is a 2014 Pakistani action comedy film co-written and directed by Nabeel Qureshi in his directorial debut. It stars Javed Sheikh, Fahad Mustafa, Mohsin Abbas Haider with supporting cast of Urwa Hocane, Kubra Khan and Salman Shahid. The story follows Shakeel (Sheikh), Farhaan (Mustafa) and Moon (Haider), three poor struggling individuals who chase every possible means of becoming rich, all getting into trouble as they struggle to fulfill their desires and ambitions through questionably moral ways.
Hum Films is a film production and distribution company based in Karachi, Pakistan, working under the Hum Network Limited. It was launched in September 2014, with setting a film Na Maloom Afraad to release domestically on 5 October 2014. The second film, banner released was a romance Bin Roye on 18 July 2015.

Na Maloom Afraad 2 is a 2017 Pakistani action comedy film, co-written and directed by Nabeel Qureshi and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza and Mehdi Ali. It is a sequel to Na Maloom Afraad (2014). The film stars Fahad Mustafa, Javed Sheikh, Mohsin Abbas Haider and Urwa Hocane reprising their roles from the previous film. New additions to the cast include Marina Khan and Hania Amir. While Nayyar Ejaz, Saleem Meraj and Nazr-ul-Hassan played the main antagonists.
Nabeel Qureshi is a Pakistani film director, screenwriter, and occasional singer best known for making films that tackle socio-economic issues. He has won two Lux Style Awards for best film director award for his film Na Maloom Afraad (2014) and Actor in Law (2016).
Actor in Law is a 2016 Pakistani socio-comedy film directed by Nabeel Qureshi, co-written and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza along with Mehdi Ali. The film was released on Eid-ul-Adha 2016 by Urdu 1 Pictures. The film stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. The cast also includes veteran Indian actor Om Puri in his first Pakistani film. On 19 April 2017, the movie received the Best Film award at the 16th Lux Style Awards.

Hania Aamir is a Pakistani actress who appears in Urdu television and films. She began her acting career with the comedy film Janaan (2016) for which she fetched a nomination at Lux Style Award for Best Supporting Actress. Aamir made her television debut with Titli (2017) playing a beauty-obsessed unfaithful wife and later appeared in Visaal (2018) but these failed to took her career forward.
Load Wedding is a 2018 Pakistani romantic comedy film, which is mutually written by the director Nabeel Qureshi and the producer, Fizza Ali Meerza under the banner of Filmwala Pictures. The film stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. Released on Eid al-Adha; 22 August 2018, it was distributed by IMGC and Geo Films nationwide, and by Zee Studios internationally.
Faiza Hasan is a Pakistani actress and producer. She played the leading roles in the television adaptations of Umera Ahmad's Darbar-e-Dil, La Hasil and Wajood-E-Laraib and gained prominence with her title role in 2020 soap opera Nand. She played a supporting role of Farhana in 2018 film Load Wedding as well.
