Flashez is an ABC music television program hosted by Ray Burgess later being joined by co-host Mike Meade. [1] [2] The series began in August 1976 [3] and ended on December 2 1977. [4] It ran five days a week in an afternoon slot. [5]

The Championship was sanctioned by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, with the event's title causing confusion with the World Snooker Championship in some media reports. The tournament was not repeated.
