Les Misérables is a 1995 French war film written, produced and directed by Claude Lelouch. Set in France during the first half of the 20th century, the film concerns a poor and illiterate man named Henri Fortin who is introduced to Victor Hugo's classic 1862 novel Les Misérables and begins to see parallels to his own life. The film won the 1995 Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
Shadows and Fog is a 1991 American black-and-white comedy film directed by Woody Allen and based on his one-act play Death (1975). It stars Allen, Mia Farrow, John Malkovich, Kathy Bates, David Ogden Stiers, Jodie Foster, Donald Pleasence, Lily Tomlin, John Cusack, Madonna, and Kenneth Mars. The Fallen Idol is a 1948 British mystery thriller film directed by Carol Reed, and starring Ralph Richardson, Bobby Henrey, Michèle Morgan, and Denis O'Dea. Its plot follows the young son of a diplomat in London, who comes to suspect that his family's butler, whom he idolises, has committed a murder. It is based on the 1936 short story "The Basement Room", by Graham Greene.

Mr. Freedom is a 1968 superhero film by the expatriate American photographer and filmmaker William Klein. An anti-imperialist satirical farce, it concerns the exploits of the titular white nationalist superhero and his sidekick, Marie-Madeleine, as they try to prevent a Communist takeover of France and solve the murder of a French superhero, Capitaine Formidable. In addition to Seyrig, the film features cameos by Donald Pleasence and Philippe Noiret, as well as the musician Serge Gainsbourg.
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu is a French actress. She is the daughter of actor Philippe Leroy-Beaulieu and model Françoise Laurent. She made her screen debut in the 1983 comedy-drama film Surprise Party, and starred in the 1985 comedy film Three Men and a Cradle. She received a nomination for the César Award for Most Promising Actress for the latter role. Leroy-Beaulieu later played leading and supporting roles in more than 50 movies. In later years, Leroy-Beaulieu played the title character in the RTBF crime comedy series, Agathe Koltès (2016—2019), and in 2020 began starring as Sylvie Grateau in the Netflix comedy-drama series, Emily in Paris.
Eaux profondes is a 1981 French thriller film directed by Michel Deville that stars Isabelle Huppert and Jean-Louis Trintignant. Based on the novel Deep Water by Patricia Highsmith, it tells the story of a man who regains his wife's affections by killing two of her lovers.
Killing Car is a 1993 French surreal revenge thriller film directed by Jean Rollin. Starring Tiki Tsang, it centres on a mysterious woman who assassinates a number of people, while a pair of detectives follow her trail. The film pays homage to Rollin's earlier works, such as, Le frisson des vampires, Les raisins de la mort, and Fascination.
Bullhead is a 2011 Belgian crime film written and directed by Michaël R. Roskam and starring Matthias Schoenaerts. The film is about the prohibited use of growth hormones on cattle by farmers with ties to organised crime "hormone mafia", and tells the story of Jacky Vanmarsenille, a young Limburgish farmer, who is approached by his veterinarian to make a deal with a West-Flemish beef trader. But the murder of a federal policeman, and an unexpected confrontation with a mysterious secret from Jacky's past, set in motion a chain of events with far-reaching consequences.

Ripper Street is a British mystery drama television series set in Whitechapel in the East End of London starring Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn, Adam Rothenberg, and MyAnna Buring. It begins in 1889, six months after the infamous Jack the Ripper murders. The first episode was broadcast on 30 December 2012, during BBC One's Christmas schedule, and was first broadcast in the United States on BBC America on 19 January 2013. Ripper Street returned for a second eight-part series on 28 October 2013.

Marina is a biographical film released in 2013 and directed by Stijn Coninx. The film is based upon the life of the Italian singer Rocco Granata who moved to Belgium when he was a young boy. It features Matteo Simoni as Rocco Granata and Evelien Bosmans as Helena. Most part of the film is in Italian as Rocco's parents did not speak the Dutch language. Other parts are in Dutch and some dialogues in French and English.
Antonio Dawson, portrayed by Jon Seda, is a fictional character in the Chicago franchise and is a main character in Chicago P.D. and Chicago Justice. He was introduced as a recurring character on Chicago Fire before the spin-off Chicago P.D. was created. He is the former second-in-command of the Intelligence Unit of the Chicago Police Department (CPD) and regularly appears on Chicago Fire. He is also the older brother of Gabriela "Gabby" Dawson, formerly a paramedic-turned-firefighter at Firehouse 51.
The Ardennes is a 2015 Belgian drama film directed by Robin Pront. It was screened in the Discovery section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. At the 6th Magritte Awards, it received the Magritte Award for Best Flemish Film. It was selected as the Belgian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards but it was not nominated.
Urvi is a 2017 Indian Kannada language crime drama film directed by B.S.Pradeep Varma and produced by Airier Drreams. The film has a mainly female lead cast, including Shruthi Hariharan, Shraddha Srinath, Shweta Pandit, Bhavani Prakash and Dr.Jhanvi. Achyuth Kumar, Madhukar Niyogi and Prabhu Mundkur play key supporting roles. The soundtrack and score for the film is composed by the Grammy Award winning violinist Manoj George. The cinematography is by Anand Sundaresha.

Oorukku Upadesam is a 1984 Indian Tamil-language film directed by S. P. Muthuraman. The film stars S. Ve. Shekher, Urvasi and Visu, with Delhi Ganesh, Charuhasan, Dilip, Subhakar Pushpalatha and Vanitha in supporting roles. It is an adaptation of Visu's 1974 play Sirithu Konde Azhugirom. The film was released on 24 February 1984. It was remade in Kannada the same year as Indina Ramayana.
