Flex the Falcon is the mascot of Bentley University. Bentley University is a private co-educational university outside of Boston, Massachusetts that is focused on business.
Flex's birthday is September 30 which is celebrated by students at an event called Falcon Fest.
Flex the Falcon supports the Bentley University's 23 men's and women's varsity teams that compete in the Northeast-10 Conference at the NCAA Division II level. When Flex is not busy supporting the 23 men's and women's varsity teams, he helps campus organizations promote their events such as when he was seen featured on La Cultura Latina's video [1] promoting their Latin Dance night. Flex has also made appearances on both Fox 25 WFXT news [2] as well as the Today show on NBC when Bentley University's Career Services [3] was ranked number one in the country for the year of 2016. The Falcons compete in NCAA Division II and are members of the Northeast-10 Conference for all sports except the men's ice hockey team, which competes in Division I as a member of Atlantic Hockey.
Cambridge Dancers' Club (CDC) first opened its doors in October 1950 as a student society in the University of Cambridge to promote Ballroom and Latin dancing. It has since broadened the styles taught by their professional teachers to include Salsa and Rock 'n' Roll classes, as well as opening to all adult Cambridge residents. The club runs classes five nights a week during Full Term, including classes open to people with no previous dance experience. Classes also run outside Full Term. Having once had an annual membership of over 2000, the club now has a membership that is still well over 1000 members, making it purportedly one of the largest Ballroom and Latin Dancing Clubs in Europe.
The Bentley Falcons men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. The Falcons are an original member of Atlantic Hockey, The Falcons play their home games at the Bentley Arena on the school's campus in Waltham, Massachusetts, having moved into the new, on-campus arena in February 2018. The Falcons are coached by former Falcon forward Ryan Soderquist ('00), the program's all-time scoring leader.
The St. Edward's Hilltoppers are the athletic teams that represent St. Edward's University, located in Austin, Texas, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sporting competitions. Barbara Stevens is the former head coach of the Bentley University women's basketball team. Stevens had previously served as head basketball coach for Clark University and Massachusetts. Stevens was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006. She was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020.

A pioneer in the field of sexual health and empowerment, Dr. Ferrer began her journey providing workshops on sexual health and empowerment to women in Evergreen State College and across the Pacific Northwest. Her first book, The W.I.S.E. Journal for the Sensual Woman became an international success and lead to her invitation to lecture throughout the US and Latin America; where she taught medical providers and mental health practitioners the value of respecting their patients’ sexual orientations and preferences to enable physicians to provide the best care possible.

She occupies a prominent role as a promoter and activist in the areas of women's studies and women's history.
