Flinders Quartet is an Australian string quartet. [1] [2] They were formed in 2000 by Helen Ireland, Zoe Knighton, Matthew Tomkins and Erica Kennedy. In 2012 Helen Ayres and Shane Chen replaced Tomkins and Kennedy. [3] Ayres was in turn replaced by Nicholas Waters in 2015.
Karin Schaupp & Flinders Quartet's album Fandango received a nomination for the 2011 ARIA Award for Best Classical Album.

Things of Stone and Wood or ToSaW are an Australian folk rock band which formed in 1989. The original line-up was Michael Bruce Allen on bass guitar and backing vocals; Greg Arnold on lead vocals and acoustic guitar; Justin Brady on violin, mandolin and harmonica; and Tony Floyd on drums and percussion. Two of their albums, The Yearning and Junk Theatre peaked at No. 8 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Their 1992 single, "Happy Birthday Helen" reached No. 9 on the ARIA Singles Chart, which was written by Arnold for his then-girlfriend, whom he later married. Cosmo Cosmolino are a gypsy, folk and tango band, which formed in 1995 by Hope Csutoros on lead violin, Helen Mountfort on cello and Judy Gunson on lead vocals and piano accordion. They were joined by Andrea Keeble on violin and Dan Witton on double bass and vocals in 1998. Their debut album, Streetsweeper, was independently released in April 2000 and was followed by Nektár in December 2004, which was nominated for Best World Music Album at the ARIA Music Awards of 2005. Csutoros was replaced by Sue Simpson on violin in 2006. Their third album, Bel Air, appeared in August 2011.
The Acacia Quartet is a string quartet based in Australia. It was founded in 2010 by violinists Lisa Stewart and Myee Clohessy, violist Stefan Duwe, and cellist Anna Martin-Scrase. Stewart and Clohessy both play A. E Smith violins. The quartet were artists-in-residence at the radio station Fine Music 102.5 from 2014 to 2016. They made their international debut performing the 2-hour long AIDS Memoir Quartet of Lyle Chan in Vancouver, Canada and then travelled to Berlin to perform and record several string quartets by the Nazi-banned late German composer Günter Raphael. Their discography demonstrates their longstanding collaborations with Australian composers Lyle Chan, Elena Kats-Chernin.and Moya Henderson. Jane Sheldon recorded with the quartet.
