Floorball in India is governed by the Indian Floorball Federation. It was created in 2001, but the national floorball championships were held before that time. [1]

Floorball is a type of floor hockey with five players and a goalkeeper in each team. It is played indoors with 96–115.5 cm-long (37.8–45.5 in) sticks and a 70–72 mm-diameter (2.76–2.83 in) hollow plastic ball with holes. Matches are played in three twenty-minute periods. The sport of bandy also played a role in the game's development.
The International Floorball Federation (IFF) is the worldwide governing body for the sport of floorball. It was founded on 12 April 1986 in Huskvarna, Sweden, by representatives from the national floorball associations of Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. It is recognized by the IOC and is an ordinary member of the ARISF.
The Sweden men's national floorball team is the national floorball team of Sweden, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. It has won ten out of 14 men's world championships. Its dominance has decreased somewhat though – in 1996 the overall goal difference was 83–3, while ten years later, the team suffered its first draw in the tournament versus Switzerland, and needed sudden victory to defeat Finland in the final. In 2008, Finland defeated Sweden in overtime, giving Sweden its first loss in the World Floorball Championships. This loss happened in the final match, and therefore Sweden did not retain their 12-year title as world floorball champions. In 2012, Sweden defeated Finland and won the title for the first time in six years.
The F-liiga is the top men's floorball league in Finland. The league was founded as Salibandyn SM-sarja in 1986 by the Finnish Floorball Federation (SSBL). It was renamed to Salibandyliiga for the 1994–95 season. The Salibandyliiga was operated by the company SSBL Salibandy Oy, a subsidiary of the Finnish Floorball Federation. The current name F-liiga is used since season 2020–21.
The Champions Cup is floorball tournament organized by the International Floorball Federation for the best clubs from the top four countries according to IFF World Ranking. Since 2019, those are Sweden, the Czech Republic, Finland and Switzerland, both for men and women. The tournament culminates every year in January both for men's and women's teams, that won in the previous season in their national league and cup competitions. That means, there are eight men's and either women's teams in the tournament in total.
The Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC) is a floorball confederation consisting of 20 nations spanning across two continents, Asia and Oceania.
The Czech Men's National Floorball Team is the national floorball team of the Czech Republic, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. Its biggest successes are silver medals from the 5th World Championships in 2004 and 14th World Championships in 2022, which both took place in Switzerland. The team also won three bronze medals in 2010, 2014 and 2021. That makes Czech team the third most successful team after Sweden and Finland. Czech Republic has appeared in every World and European Championships tournament organised by the IFF.
The Slovakia Men's National Floorball Team is the national floorball team of Slovakia, and a member of the International Floorball Federation.
The Philippines women's national floorball team is the women's national floorball team of the Philippines and is organized by Philippine Floorball Association.
The 2019 IFF Women's World Floorball Championships was the 12th staging of the Women's World Floorball Championship, contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the International Floorball Federation (IFF), the sport's global governing body. The final tournament took place in Neuchâtel, Switzerland from 7 to 15 December 2019. Switzerland played hosts for this event for the third time.
The floorball competition at the 2022 World Games took place in July 2022, in Birmingham, United States, at the BJCC East Exhibition Hall. Originally scheduled to take place in July 2021, the Games were rescheduled for July 2022 as a result of the 2020 Summer Olympics postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The team is composed of the best American floorball players under the age of 19. The United States' under-19 men's team is currently ranked 14th in the world at floorball, and played in the B-Division at the most recent U-19 World Floorball Championships.
The Germany Men's Under-19 National Floorball Team is the men's under-19 national floorball team of the Germany, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. The team is composed of the best German floorball players under the age of 19. The German under-19 men's team is currently ranked 9th in the world at floorball after 2023 World Floorball Championships.
The RussiaMen's Under-19 National Floorball Team is the men's under-19 national floorball team of Russia, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. The team is composed of the best Russian floorball players under the age of 19. The Russian under-19 men's team is currently ranked 11th in the world at floorball, and played in the B-Division at the most recent U-19 World Floorball Championships.
The JapanMen's Under-19 National Floorball Team is the men's under-19 national floorball team of Japan, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. The team is composed of the best Japanese floorball players under the age of 19. The Japan under-19 men's team is currently ranked 15th in the world at floorball, and played in the B-Division at the most recent U-19 World Floorball Championships.
The Slovenia Men's Under-19 National Floorball Team is the men's under-19 national floorball team of the Slovenia, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. The team is composed of the best Slovenian floorball players under the age of 19. The Slovenian under-19 men's team is currently ranked 10th in the world at floorball, and played in the B-Division at the most recent U-19 World Floorball Championships.
The Australia Men's Under-19 National Floorball Team is the men's under-19 national floorball team of Australia, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. The team is composed of the best Australian floorball players under the age of 19. The Australian under-19 men's team is currently ranked 20th in the world at floorball, and is currently prepping for the 2021 U-19 World Championships.
The United States men's national floorball team is the men's national floorball team of the United States, and a member of the International Floorball Federation (IFF). The American men's team is currently ranked 16th in the world at floorball following their result at the 2018 Men's World Floorball Championships.
The 2022 Men's World Floorball Championships was the 14th World Championships in men's floorball. The tournament was played in Zürich and Winterthur, Switzerland, and took place during 5–13 November, 2022.
The Slovakia Men's Under-19 National Floorball Team is the men's under-19 national floorball team of the Slovakia, and a member of the International Floorball Federation. The team is composed of the best Slovak floorball players under the age of 19. The Slovak under-19 men's team is currently ranked 6th in the world at floorball. They finished 7th at 2021 U-19 World Floorball Championship in Brno, Czech Republic.
