Floraleda Sacchi (June 14, 1978) is an Italian harpist, composer and musicologist born in Como.
She studied music in Italy, the United States and Canada, with Lisetta Rossi, Alice Giles, Judy Loman, Alice Chalifoux. She has won prizes, in Italy and abroad, at 16 music competitions. Between 1998 and 2012 she performed more than 600 concerts in Europe, North and South America, and Asia in concert halls and festivals.
She plays pedal harp (also electro and Celtic harp), as well as historical instruments (single and double action pedal harp).
She has written articles on musicology related to the harp and harpists. A book by her, entitled Elias Parish Alvars, Life, Music, Documents published in 1999, received the Harpa Award (Prague 1999). She has edited 18th and 19th century harp music, bringing to the public several forgotten composers (such as Sophia Dussek or Alphonse Hasselmans).
She is the author of shows uniting music and acting, including Mystery Tales (for actor, harp and string quartet, dedicated to the relationship among fantasy, horror literature and music) and Travel to the Moon (for actor, harp and planetarium - presented regularly at Milan's Planetarium) - freely inspired from Cosmicomiche by Italo Calvino. Beginning in June 2007, she played live in Ottavia Piccolo's monologue Donna non rieducabile. The show, based on a text by Stefano Massini, is dedicated to journalist Anna Politkovskaya. The show was made into a film by Felice Cappa in 2009. The movie was produced by RAI TV with the title "Il sangue, la neve" (The Blood, the Snow). Published by PromoMusic in DVD, the movie was presented at the 66th Venice Film Festival.
Since 2006, Floraleda Sacchi has been the artistic director of the Lake Como Festival.

Caroline Léonardelli is a French-Canadian concert harpist. Born in France, she graduated from the Conservatoire de Paris at age of 18 and came to Canada to study at McGill University where she completed an Artist Diploma. Based in Canada's National Capital Region, she performs for CBC national broadcasts and for Radio Canada. Her recordings are featured by Apple Music in the top ten playlist of master harp recordings and her recording label is distributed worldwide by NAXOS. She is the Principal Harpist with the Ottawa Symphony and Orchestre symphonique de Gatineau.
The pedal harp is a large and technologically modern harp, designed primarily for use in art music. It may be played solo, as part of a chamber ensemble, or in an orchestra. It typically has 47 strings with seven strings per octave, giving a range of six and a half octaves.

Sylvia Woods is an American harpist and composer, and is perhaps best known for her role in the worldwide renaissance of the Celtic harp, or cláirseach. Woods began selling and writing music for Celtic harps in the 1970s, when the instrument was not widely known in the United States, contributing to a groundswell of interest in the Celtic harp and music. Woods was named one of the “most influential harp forces of the twentieth century” by HarpColumn magazine.
Maria Krushevskaya is a virtuoso Russian harpist. She was the gold medalist of the 2007 USA International Harp Competition, where she was awarded the Jan Jennings Prize for best performance of Pierné's Concertstück for Harp and Orchestra, the Mary L. Ogg Prize for best performance of Küne's Fantaisie sur un theme de l’opera Eugene Onegin, and best performance of Alvars' Introduction and Variations on Themes from Bellini's Opera Norma. Maria Krushevskaya was born in Moscow in 1984 in a family of musicians. She began to study music at the age of five. In 1992 she entered the Moscow Gnessin School of Music, graduating with distinction in 2002 and subsequently continued her studies at the Gnesins’ Russian Academy of Music from which she also graduated with distinction in 2008.

The Celtic Harp Orchestra (CHO), founded in 2002 by Fabius Constable, is a musical formation composed primarily of lever harps, or Celtic harps, as they are commonly known, alongside other instruments such as cello, violin, flute, accordion, guitar, bass, drums, soprano voice and choir. As of June 2018 CHO has released seven albums currently distributed by the label Ignorelands. The musicians who are part of this project form an interesting and harmonious heterogeneous group, aged between 17 and 60 years. In full, the formation numbers 16 harpists, of whom 12 are women. An important role in characterizing the sound of Celtic Harp Orchestra goes to the voice of soprano Donatella Bortone, who joined the group in 2003, after having worked with Fabius Constable in an earlier project, "Fir Soar", CHO is considered the largest Celtic harp orchestra in Europe.
