The politics of Kenya take place in a framework of a presidential republic, whereby the president is both head of state and head of government, and of a multi-party system in accordance with a new constitution passed in 2010.

The Cabinet of the Republic of Kenya is made up of the elected President and Deputy President, together with the appointed Attorney General, and Cabinet Secretaries. Cabinet Secretaries are nominated by the President and approved by Parliament, following vetting procedure. Once approved, they can be reshuffled at the President's discretion.

Alfred Nganga Mutua is a Kenyan journalist and politician who is serving as the Kenyan Minister for Labour and Social Protection. He previously served as the Minister for Tourism and Wildlife. Before that he served as theCabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs under President William Ruto. Mutua was, together with the entire Cabinet members, dismissed from the cabinet in July, 2024 as President William Ruto planned to reorganize his Government. He was one of only 10 of the dismissed members of Cabinet who was reappointed as a Cabinet Secretary. Twelve of the dismissed Cabinet members were not reappointed.

Alice Muthoni Wahome is a Kenyan politician and former cabinet secretary for Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development. Wahome was the elected as Member of Parliament for the Kandara Constituency in the March 2013 general elections and successfully defended her seat in 2017 and 2022 prior to resigning her seat to join cabinet. Wahome is a member of UDA. She was later dismissed as a cabinet secretary in July 2024.

Abraham Kithure Kindiki is a Kenyan politician and lawyer who is the 13th and current Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya since 1 November 2024. He previously served as the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration from 2022 to 2024 and as the Senator for Tharaka-Nithi County from 2013 to 2022.

She previously served as a Member of Parliament representing Malindi Constituency in Kilifi County and Commissioner of the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) from 2017 to 2022, the Woman Representative for Kilifi County from 2013 to 2017, and as Councillor for Takaungu Ward from 1997 to 2007. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership and Management from International Leadership University [ILU] and Executive Diploma in Governance from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
Simon Kiprono Chelugui is a Kenyan politician born in Kisanana, Mogotio, Baringo County. He is a former Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and Micro and Small Enterprise having been appointed by President William Ruto and sworn into office on 27 October 2022. He served until 11 July 2024.
Eric Muchangi Njiru Karemba is a Kenyan politician and a businessman, and currently the Member of Parliament (MNA) for Runyenjes Constituency, serving a second term and also the Chairman of the Labour and Social Affairs committee. Runyenjes is in Embu County in Eastern part of Kenya. Karemba belongs to the United Democratic Alliance party under the Kenya Kwanza alliance led by the current and the fifth president of Kenya Dr William Ruto. He is a graduate of Kenyatta university with a Bachelors of Education and was a student leader at the same university. Karemba made history by becoming the first Akorino MP in the history of Kenya. Karemba currently serves as the Chairman of the Labor and Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly.
Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua is a Kenyan politician, the 12th and former deputy president of Kenya. As a member of the Jubilee Party, Gachagua served as Member of Parliament for Mathira from 2017 to 2022.
Roselinda Soipan Tuya is a Kenyan politician who has served as Minister of Defence since 12 August 2024. She previously served as Cabinet secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry. She was the first Maasai woman to be in the Cabinet of Kenya. She was dismissed on 11th July 2024, before being nominated for the position once again on 18th July 2024. However, she was later reassigned to the Defence docket awaiting confirmation by the National Assembly.
Esther Okenyuri Anyieni commonly known as "Essy" and locally "Nyaituga" is a Member of Parliament at the 4th Senate of Kenya, / 13th Parliament of Kenya, nominated by Kenya's ruling party, United Democratic Alliance. She is a member of KEWOPA, the Vice Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Trade, Industrialization and Tourism, a member of the Senate Standing Committee on Health, and the Senate Powers and Privileges Committee. She is the current Deputy Secretary General of the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association, and the Organizing Secretary of Kenyan Women Senators Association. She is an Executive Member, Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Kenya Branch.
Reuben Kiborek is the current Member of Parliament for Mogotio Constituency of Baringo County located in Rift Valley, Kenya. He was elected to the seat the 2022 Kenyan general elections. Kiborek had previously contested Mogotio in the 2017 elections. He is a member of the United Democratic Alliance party. Prior to politics, he worked as a herdboy.
