Florian Planker (born 8 February 1977 [1] ) is an Italian former para-alpine skier and current ice sledge hockey player. He is a five time Paralympian who was named a flag-bearer in 2017. [2]

Todd Nicholson, is a Canadian former ice sledge hockey player. He was a member of the 2010 Paralympic Sledge Ice Hockey team, which were the fourth Paralympic games that Nicholson participated in. He announced his retirement from the Canadian ice sledge hockey team on September 7, 2010. Nicholson now serves on the International Paralympic Committee Governing Board as the Athletes' Representative.

Wilhelm Brem is a Paralympic biathlete and cross-country skier representing Germany in the Winter Paralympics and the IPC World Championships. He often skis with Florian Grimm as his guide. As of the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Brem has won 4 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals between the Paralympics games and the IPC World Championships. Brem was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf in 2010, the highest athletic award in Germany. He was the German flag bearer during the closing ceremony of the 2014 Paralympics in Sochi.

Han Min-su is a South Korean ice sledge hockey player. He played in the 2010 and 2014 Paralympic Winter Games. At the 2010 Games in Vancouver, he was the flag bearer for South Korea. He won a silver medal at the 2012 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships. Han was a member of South Korea's bronze medal winning team in para ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Paralympics.

Jennifer Dugwen Chieng is an American-born boxer and mixed martial artist who represents the Federated States of Micronesia in sports. She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the women's boxing - lightweight event, in which she was eliminated in the round of 16 by Mikaela Mayer. She was the flag bearer for her country at the Parade of Nations.

Togo competed at the 2016 Summer Paralympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 7 to 18 September 2016. The country's participation in Rio marked its debut appearance in the quadrennial event, although it had competed in the Summer Olympics nine times since the 1972 Games. Kamil Rosiek is a biathlete and cross-country skier who has represented Poland at several Winter Paralympic Games. He served as their flag-bearer at the 2018 Winter Paralympics Parade of Nations.

During the Parade of Nations at the opening ceremony of the 2020 Summer Paralympic Games, athletes from each participating country paraded in the Japan National Stadium, preceded by its flag and placard carrier. Each flag bearer had been chosen either by the nation's National Paralympic Committee (NPC) or by the athletes themselves.
