Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia dell'Aquila known as Fondazione Carispaq is an Italian charity organization that was the product of 1992 banking reform. The foundation was the owner of Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia dell'Aquila S.p.A.. However the limited company was sold to Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna progressively from 2000 to 2013. Carispaq sold 11.853% shares of Carispaq for 1,915,453 new shares of BPER, [1] which equivalent to 0.58% share capital as at 31 December 2014. [2]

As at 31 December 2014, the foundation had a shareholders equity of €142,841,977. [2] The foundation provided scholarship to the students of University of L'Aquila, [3] [4] as well as an archaeology scholarship co-funded with Associazione L'ArQueologia. [5] It was reported that the foundation promoted the construction of a L'Aquila–Rome railway. [6]

The former majority shareholder and the old legal person of the bank, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Ferrara survived as a charity organization.

However, Tercas was acquired by Banca Popolare di Bari in 2014, which in turn Tercas and Caripe became part of the BP Bari Group as divisions. A spin off organization of the bank, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Teramo or Fondazione Tercas, still operates as a charity organization and independent from Banca Popolare di Bari.

Banca Teatina S.p.A. formerly known as Nuova Cassa di Risparmio di Chieti S.p.A. was an Italian savings bank headquartered in Chieti Scalo, Chieti, Abruzzo region. The bank was formed on 22 November 2015 to replace the old Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Chieti S.p.A. which was under special administration from 2014 to 2015. The bank was bought by UBI Banca on 18 January 2017 for a nominal fee. Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Chieti S.p.A. was the successor of the bank that known as "Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Chieti", which was under legal reconstruction in the 1990s. The former legal entity of "Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Chieti" became Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Provincia di Chieti, which was the majority shareholder of the S.p.A. before its failure in 2015.

Casse di Risparmio dell'Umbria S.p.A., known as Casse dell'Umbria, is an Italian retail bank based in Terni, Umbria. The bank is a subsidiary of Intesa Sanpaolo.
