The Football Impact Cup is an annual international exhibition football club competition played in Marbella, Spain.

The tournament is a chance for training and match play for the European football teams during their winter break. The majority of games are broadcast back to home markets of participating clubs allowing fans to observe the current progress of team preparation for the upcoming season.

History

The 2012 Football Impact Cup took place on 22–28 January 2012. It was won by Dynamo Kyiv. [1]

The 2013 Football Impact Cup took place on 18–23 January 2013. The participants were Dynamo Kyiv, Steaua Bucharest, Basel and Ferencváros Budapest. [2]

The Ukrainian Premier League or UPL is the highest division of Ukrainian annual football championship. As the Vyshcha Liha it was formed in 1991 as part of the 1992 Ukrainian football championship upon discontinuation of the 1991 Soviet football championship and included the Ukraine-based clubs that competed previously in the Soviet top three tiers competitions as well as better clubs of the Ukrainian republican competitions. The Copa del Sol was an annual exhibition international club football tournament played on the south coast of Spain in January–February, one month before the kickoff of the national leagues, that ran from 2010 to 2014.

The 2013 Costa del Sol Trophy was an exhibition international club football tournament played in Costa del Sol, the Spanish resort of Marbella, on 24–27 January 2013. This tournament was played at the same time as 2013 Copa del Sol tournament.
