Fort Green

Fort Green is located in northwestern portion of present-day Hardee County, Florida. Twenty families forted-up there for protection during the Third Seminole War. In 1856, was the home site of James Dopson Green, and subsequently named after him. [1]

Zeta Boötis, Latinized as ζ Boötis, is a binary star system in the constellation of Boötes that consists of two giant stars with matching stellar classifications of A2III. They have the Flamsteed designation 30 Boötis. This system is approximately 180 light years from Earth and has a combined apparent magnitude of +3.78. The individual magnitudes differ slightly, with component A having a magnitude of 4.43 and component B at the slightly dimmer magnitude 4.83.

Live in Boston is a live album by British blues-rock band Fleetwood Mac. It was recorded over three nights at the Boston Tea Party venue in Boston, between 5 and 7 February 1970. The recordings were made for a proposed live album which was to have been released during 1970, but the project was shelved and the tapes remained unreleased until Shanghai Records issued seven songs from the performances as Live in Boston in February 1985. The album was reissued a few months later as Jumping at Shadows by Varrick Records and was re-released again in 1989 as Boston Live by Castle Communications. In addition, a number of other compilations featuring material dating from Fleetwood Mac's February 1970 residency at the Boston Tea Party appeared during the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The 1936 Republican National Convention was held June 9–12 at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio. It nominated Governor Alfred Landon of Kansas for President and Frank Knox of Illinois for Vice President.

Haibang Station is an elevated station of Line 4 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operation on 30 December 2006 and is located at the junction of Changnan Road and the Jingzhu Expressway in Shiqi Town (石碁镇), Panyu District.

Long Wong's on Mill was a club in Tempe, Arizona. Long Wong's on Mill was the center of the Tempe music scene, which peaked in the early 1990s, and it was where the Tempe band the Gin Blossoms got their start. In turn, the popular band made the club famous. Long Wong's also featured Tempe based bands such as Dead Hot Workshop and The Refreshments, who would all go on to sign with major record labels. Long Wong's closed on April 3, 2004.

Robert James Dopson is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Dopson was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario. Rob got married on August 12, 2006.

Swansea Victoria railway station

Swansea Victoria is a former railway station in Swansea, south Wales, opened to passenger and goods traffic on 14 December 1867. Owned successively by the Llanelly Railway and Dock Company, the Swansea and Carmarthen Railways Company, the London and North Western Railway Company, the London, Midland and Scottish Railway Company and British Railways, it was served by trains to and from Shrewsbury, Crewe, Liverpool, Manchester and York and formed the southern terminus of the Central Wales line, most of which is still operational as the Heart of Wales Line. Victoria closed in June 1964, having been listed in the Report on the Reshaping of British Railways the previous year. The site was subsequently cleared and used for Swansea Leisure Centre.

The Luggie Aqueduct carries the Forth & Clyde Canal over the Luggie Water at Kirkintilloch, to the north of Glasgow.It is a Category A listed building.

The Corner Brook Civic Centre, previously named the Canada Games Centre and the Pepsi Centre, is a 3,100-seat multi-purpose arena in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It was home to the ice hockey, figure skating, judo, and squash events of the 1999 Canada Winter Games. Previously run by Memorial University through Western Sports and Entertainment, it is currently run by Corner Brook City Council. The Pepsi Centre was the home arena of the Corner Brook Royals before they moved to Deer Lake. The facility also includes a second, smaller, arena to host small scale ice events, as well as the "Pepsi Studio" capable of hosting large-scale conferences and sporting events.
