Fort Road, Lahore is a road in the Old Walled City of Lahore, Pakistan. It is one of Lahore's most famous and historically significant roads. It is so named because it flanks the Lahore Fort on its southern and eastern sides.
Fort Road is a popular tourist destination in Lahore with some of Lahore's most important historical buildings, restaurants and antique shops situated on it. Famous landmarks on Fort Road include the world's fifth largest mosque, the Badshahi Mosque (for 313 years, the largest), the Lahore Fort, Coco's Den and Andaaz Restaurant. Fort Road Food Street is also located on this road. [1] [2]
The De Montmorency College of Dentistry and Lady Willingdon Hospital (affiliated with King Edward Medical University) are also situated on Fort Road.

Gawalmandi Food Street is a food street located near Gawalmandi neighbourhood of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Historically it was a posh place and many of the families that migrated to Lahore from Amritsar and nearby cities, after the creation of Pakistan, settled in Gawalmandi. A lack of employment opportunities lead many of them to open up small shops in front of their houses. The migrating families brought along with them new and unique cuisine and recipes, laying the foundation a street well known for its great food.
Greater Iqbal Park, formerly Minto Park, is an urban park located in the outskirts of the Walled City in Lahore, Pakistan. Before current renovations and expansion its name was Iqbal Park. Noted as the home of Minar-e-Pakistan, the 125-acre park includes an artificial lake which spreads over four acres which includes an 800-feet-long musical fountain. Other attractions includes a soft rail, library, an open-air gym and a food court. The tombs of Allama Iqbal and Hafeez Jalandhari are also located in the park.
The Architecture of Lahore reflects the history of Lahore and is remarkable for its variety and uniqueness. There are buildings left from the centuries of rule of the Mughal Empire, the Sikh Empire, as well as from the era of the British Raj, whose style is a mixture of Victorian and Islamic architecture often referred to as Indo-Saracenic. In addition, there are newer buildings which are very modern in their design. Unlike the emphasis on functional architecture in the west, much of Lahore's architecture has always been about making a statement as much as anything else.

Fort Road Food Street is a food street located between Fort Road and Roshnai Gate of the Walled City in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The street was reconstructed and opened in 2012 as a tourist attraction, by offering Lahori cuisine and views of Badshahi Mosque. The street was inaugurated on 21 January 2012, by Hamza Shahbaz Sharif to replace Gawalmandi Food Street. In 2013, the Walled City Lahore Authority (WCLA) took charge of the food street from the district government and gave it a major face-lift in collaboration with the private sector.
The Badshahi Mosque is a Mughal-era congregational mosque in Lahore, capital of the Pakistani province of Punjab, Pakistan. The mosque is located west of Lahore Fort along the outskirts of the Walled City of Lahore, and is widely considered to be one of Lahore's most iconic landmarks.
