Fortune TV is a Burmese digital Free-to-Air TV channel that run under MRTV's Multiplex Playout System based in Yangon, Myanmar. [1] Fortune TV is operated by Fortune Group. They have signed a cooperation agreement with state-run Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) to operate as content providers for digital free-to-air TV channels in a multi-playout system of MRTV on 17 February 2018. [2] The trial was broadcast on 12 February 2019 and 4 days later on 16 February, they launched the channel officially. [3] [4] They broadcast entertainment as well as information and knowledge program from 6 a.m. to 12 midnight. [5] Fortune are also providing infotainment content on the FTA and OTT platforms. [4]

Myanmar Radio and Television, formerly the Burma Broadcasting Service (BBS), is the parent of the state-run Myanmar Radio National Service and the MRTV television channel. The television channels are broadcasting from its broadcast center in Kamayut, Yangon while the radio service is now broadcasting primarily from Naypyidaw. Mizzima TV is a Burmese digital free-to-air TV channel that run under MRTV's Multiplex Playout System based in Yangon, Myanmar. Mizzima TV is operated by Mizzima Media Co.ltd. They have signed a cooperation agreement with state-run Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) to operate as content providers for digital free-to-air TV channels in a multi-playout system of MRTV on 17 February 2018. Due to the 2021 military coup, television programming are cut off from MRTV Digital Multiplex.

The third season of Burmese competitive reality TV cooking show MasterChef Myanmar ran from September 20, 2020 to January 31, 2021 on MRTV-4. Hsu Mon Hnin was the winner of this season. The host of this season was Thazin Nwe Win and the judges were Jean Marc Lemmery, U Ye Htut Win and Daw Phyu Phyu Tin. Henri Delorme was guest judge of this season.

<i>Ah Saung</i> Burmese television series

Ah Saung is a Burmese horror television series. It aired on Fortune TV. Ah Saung season 1 aired from June 1 to July 20, 2019, on every Saturday at 19:30 for 8 episodes and Ah Saung season 2: Dream Introduction aired from January 11 to March 29, 2020, on every Saturday and Sunday at 19:00 for 24 episodes.
