Forward Media was a media company based in Stockport, Merseyside which operated radio stations. [1]

History

Forward Media Ltd was established in 1998 primarily to acquire and operate Lite FM in Peterborough and Connect FM in Kettering. [2] Forward Media also previously owned Dune FM in Southport, which it purchased for £1.8m, [3] but sold the station to The Local Radio Company in early September 2004. Connect and Lite were later sold to Adventure Radio. [4] [5]

CKPC-FM is a radio station in Brantford, Ontario. Owned by Evanov Communications, it broadcasts a soft adult contemporary format, billed as "Southern Ontario's Lite Favourites". With an 80,000 watt signal, the station serves a very large area, including the Waterloo Region, Hamilton, the Niagara region, the greater London area and the western suburbs of the Greater Toronto Area.
