Frances Donovan is a journalist and presenter on television and radio, including anchoring the Rugby World Cup, [1] the Olympics, the Commonwealth Games [2] and the BAFTAS.
Donovan began her career as a radio reporter and presenter at 210FM in Reading before moving to Severn Sound Radio in Gloucester. Her first television role was a reporter at HTV West in Bristol, from where she went on to work for ITN, Sky, Channel 5 and Meridian Television. [3] She was also a regular sports presenter on what was then News24 for the BBC. [4] She returned to Wales to become one of BBC Wales Sport's main anchors, where she hosted Wales on Saturday - the weekend results show - for four years, as well as BBC Sports Personality of the Year, Wales Open Golf, Welsh Open Snooker, International Bowls and Welsh Amateur Boxing. [5] She was the first female presenter of BBC Wales' rugby programme, Scrum Five. She has reported for Match of the Day and Football Focus as well as The Open Championship for the BBC and has also fronted the sports news on BBC Breakfast. She is also the host of ITV Wales' sport chat show In Touch, interviewing sports figures like Ole Gunnar Solskjær, [6] Chris Coleman, [7] Gareth Edwards, Craig Bellamy, [8] Matthew Maynard, [9] Garry Monk and Malky Mackay. [10] Donovan is also a regular reporter for Premier League Productions, the television arm of the Barclays Premier League. She hosted ITV Sport's LV Cup programming for the first time in 2015 and will be part of the ITV network team covering the 2015 Rugby World Cup. She anchored ITV Wales' coverage of the 2011 Rugby World Cup and will reprised that role for the 2015 tournament.
Away from sport, Donovan has co-anchored both Wales Tonight and The West Tonight for ITV. She tackled the business world for ITV Wales in The Secrets of My Success and indulged her love of history and the outdoors fronting History Hunters for the BBC. She conceived and helped develop the idea of 'Give a Dog a Home' - a formatted show looking to pair rescue dogs with new families - and co-presented the BBC Wales series with Benji Webbe, lead singer of Skindred. She was one of the main presenters of Children in Need for BBC Wales for seven years and also hosted a seven-hour long Outside Broadcast from Cardiff Castle to mark the Queen's Jubilee. Donovan presented ITV's arts and entertainment programme The Wales Show for several years, interviewing Ricky Gervais, Catherine Zeta Jones and Rhys Ifans amongst others. She climbed a 100 ft telegraph pole and took part in the Pony Club mounted games during her time as one of the faces of the BBC's coverage of the Royal Welsh Show.
She is also the host of the sports quiz 'Extra Time' for BBC Radio Wales [11] and is a regular guest anchor for the mid-morning phone-in show and the afternoon magazine programme.
Donovan works with a number of charities on animal rights. In March 2012, she took on the First Nation Home challenge for Sport Relief as the only female competing member of Team Wales. Captained by Gethin Jones, they raced teams from Ireland, Scotland and England around the UK, cycling, running, sailing and rowing in the quest to be the First Nation Home. [12] She is also an ambassador for the Welsh Football Trust and St John Cymru.
Kathryn Mary Draper Garraway is an English broadcaster and journalist. In the 1990s, Garraway was a journalist for ITV News Central and later a co-presenter of ITV News Meridian. From 2000 to 2010, she co-presented GMTV. Currently, Garraway is the presenter of Mid Mornings with Kate Garraway on Smooth Radio and newsreader and co-anchor of the ITV Breakfast programme Good Morning Britain.
Gabrielle Nicole Logan is a Welsh television and radio presenter, and a former rhythmic gymnast who represented Wales and Great Britain. She hosted Final Score for BBC Sport from 2009 until 2013. She has also presented live sports events for the BBC, including a revived episode of Superstars in December 2012 and the London Marathon since 2015. Since 2013, she has co-hosted Sports Personality of the Year for the BBC and she presented the second series of The Edge in 2015.
Kirsty Jane Gallacher is a British television presenter and model. She began her career at Sky Sports News in 1998 and hosted Kirsty's Home Videos, RI:SE and Simply the Best before returning to Sky Sports News from 2011–2018. From June 2021 until December 2021, Gallacher co-presented The Great British Breakfast on the news channel GB News.
Frederick Edgar Dinenage is a British author, broadcaster and television presenter. His television career has spanned nearly 60 years, including the long-running children's programme How and ITV's regional programming in the south of England. Dinenage retired from presenting regional news on ITV Meridian on 16 December 2021, after 38 years as a news anchor.
Gethin Clifford Jones is a Welsh television presenter. He was an active rugby union player while at Manchester Metropolitan University and, after graduation, he began his television career on Welsh language channel S4C as a presenter of children's programmes such as Popty, Mas Draw and the flagship children's entertainment show Uned 5.
Jenni Falconer is a Scottish-born radio and television presenter. She appears on the ITV daytime show This Morning as a regular travel reporter and was a regular presenter of the National Lottery Draws on BBC One.
Craig Doyle is an Irish television and radio presenter. To British viewers he is recognisable as working for the BBC and ITV and more recently BT Sport. Irish viewers also know him as the host of RTÉ One chat show Tonight with Craig Doyle and RTÉ2's Craig Doyle Live. He is the main anchor on BT Sport Premiership, European Champions Cup rugby coverage and MotoGP motorcycle racing. Craig has also been a presenter on ITV's Rugby World Cup coverage. Since 2022, Doyle has been a regular relief presenter on ITV daytime series This Morning alongside Josie Gibson and Holly Willoughby. In September 2023, he replaced Laura Woods as host of The NFL Show on ITV.
Clifford Isaac Morgan, was a Welsh rugby union player who played for Cardiff RFC and earned 29 caps for Wales between 1951 and 1958. After his playing career ended, Morgan made a successful career in broadcasting, both as a commentator and presenter and also as a programme-maker and BBC executive.

Seema Jaswal is a British sports journalist, radio and television presenter currently working for BT Sport, ITV, BBC, DAZN and the Premier League. Jaswal presented the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with ITV. Jaswal is the first woman to present a Men’s World Cup Quarter final for a UK Broadcaster – Morocco vs Portugal for ITV. Jaswal was also the main presenter for the historic all-female on-screen panel for a Men’s World Cup game – Saudi Arabia vs Poland.
Polly James is a Welsh radio and television presenter. She has presented for Absolute Radio, Radio X, and Capital South Wales. She has been a television sports broadcaster, covering darts for Sky Sports, as well as the Late Night Football Club, BBC One's chat show for the duration of Wales' participation in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
