Francisco Tavares is a strength and conditioning coach with Sporting Lisbon in Portugal. He was previously a rugby union strength and conditioning coach with Glasgow Warriors. [1]
After working as technical director at Holmes Place from 2009 to 2011, Tavares moved to be a strength and conditioning coach in rugby union. [2]
He was given the job of Asst. Strength and Conditioning coach at the Portuguese Rugby Federation. He remained there until 2013. [2]
Moving back to Portugal, he became the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Cascais Rugby Linha. [2]
In 2015 he moved to New Zealand to be the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Chiefs. [2]
In 2016 he became Head of Strength and Conditioning for Portuguese Rugby Federation. [2]
He started as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Glasgow Warriors in June 2017. [1]
