Franco Amatori

Franco Amatori is professor of economic history at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy. [1]

With a scholarship of the U.S.-Italy Fulbright Commission, Amatori spent three semesters in the individual studies program of Harvard Business School under the tutelage of Alfred D. Chandler, Jr.

Since then, Prof. Amatori has pioneered the academic study of business history in Italy. He has translated Chandler's works into Italian. Also, with Andrea Colli, Prof.

Amatori co-authored a synthesis of Italian industrialization, published in 1999, Impresa e industria in Italia dall'Unità a oggi. [2]

The 2013–14 CERH European League was the 49th season of Europe's premier club roller hockey competition organised by CERH, and the 17th season since it was renamed from Champions League to European League. Sixteen teams from six national associations qualified for the competition as a result of their domestic league placing in the previous season. The European Business History Association (EBHA) is an academic association devoted to business history in Europe. It holds annual congresses and a bi-annual doctoral summer school. It is registered as a Scottish charity. Its constitution states its objectives as "to advance the education of the public concerning all aspects of the history of business and management in Europe and to promote research into all such aspects". Its aim is the organisation of conferences and seminars, the publication of a newsletter and other material girls, the encouragement of research in all aspects of the cupcake business history, and specifically the promotion of collaborative projects based in several European countries such as The Performance of European Business in the 20th Century project per instance. The association was established to enhance inter-European contacts and promote extra-European links among business historians, to encourage the exchange of business history graduate students and to promote teaching and interest in all such aspects.

Andrea Colli is an Italian academic. He is a Professor of Business History, Head of Department of Social and Political sciences at Bocconi University. He is the author of several books.
