Otoide Frank Isimhmen Chineyene (born 16 November 1985), known by his stage name Rt Hon Frank D Don, is a Nigerian entertainer, comedian and actor. He currently is the Senior special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Entertainment. [1]

Early life and education

Frank D Don was born in Asaba, Delta State, south-south Nigeria in 1985. He attended St Peters Cat. Nursery and Primary School Asaba and Finished his O' level in ICE (Institute of Continuous Education) Asaba, where later furthered his education to Ogwashu-uku Polytechnic, where he studied Mass communication.

Comedy career

Frank D Don's comedy career started from stage acting where he first performed Comedy [2] at Unity Theater Production. He later gained a special appearance on Star Trek Show and worked alongside other Comedians and Musicians such as Kcee, [3] Psqaure, Faze, Tony one week and late Aba Ghana as the MC. Frank D Don performed comedy at the Nite of a 1000 laughs show 2009 organized by Opa Williams. Other shows he performed in were, Glo laffter Feast, [4] Mnet Comedy Club in Urganda and Warri Again where he worked alongside his associates Such as Igosave, Basketmouth, Bovi, Igodye Buchi, Alibaba and many others. His annual 10Years On Stage Comedy and Musical Show was held in Delta State. [5] On 6 September 2014, Rt. Hon. Frank D Don wed his beautiful queen. Delta State is a state in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Named after the Niger Delta—a large part of which is in the state—the state was formed from the former Bendel State on 27 August 1991. Victor Ochei is a former Nigerian Member of the House of Assembly from Ogbekenu in Onicha Olona Delta State. The 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards took place on 31 August 2014, at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The eligibility period was from March 2013 to March 2014. In April 2014, the NEA reviewing committee began collecting submissions for the 2014 edition. The deadline for submission was April 30, 2014, and the nominations were announced on May 29, 2014. Tiwa Savage and Davido received the most nominations with 5 each. Don Jazzy, Flavour N'abania and Wizkid all got four nominations each, while Olamide, Patoranking, Chidinma and Oritse Femi followed closely with three nominations.
