Frank Fitzpatrick (2 March 1932 – 27 June 2003) [1] was an Australian rules footballer who played with Geelong in the Victorian Football League (VFL). [2]

The Australian Football League (AFL) is the pre-eminent professional competition of Australian rules football. The league was founded as the Victorian Football League (VFL) as a breakaway from the previous Victorian Football Association (VFA), with its inaugural season commencing in 1897. Originally comprising only teams based in the Australian state of Victoria, the competition's name was changed to the Australian Football League for the 1990 season, after expanding to other states throughout the 1980s.

Fitzpatrick was recruited to Geelong on the back of two strong seasons playing for Rochester in the Bendigo Football League. He won the 1956 and 1957 Michelsen Medals. While at Geelong he made nine appearances, all in the 1958 VFL season. [3]
