Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Co., Ltd. is a lucha libre professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (EMLL). Founded in 1933, it is the oldest professional wrestling promotion still in existence.

The Mexican National Welterweight Championship is a Mexican professional wrestling championship created and sanctioned by Comisión de Box y Lucha Libre Mexico D.F.. While the commission sanctions the title, it does not promote the events at which the title is defended. Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotes the events and has the everyday control of the championship. The official definition of the welterweight weight class in Mexico is between 77 kg (170 lb) and 87 kg (192 lb), but is not always strictly enforced. Because Lucha Libre emphasizes the lower weight classes, this division is considered more important than the normally more prestigious heavyweight division of a promotion. As it is a professional wrestling championship, it is not won legitimately; it is instead won via a scripted ending to a match or awarded to a wrestler because of a storyline. All title matches take place under two out of three falls rules.
Sangre Azteca is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler is primarily known for his work for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Sangre Azteca's real name is not revealed in public, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. He is part of the rudo stable "Poder Mexica" along with Dragon Rojo Jr. and Misterioso Jr.

He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand under the ring name Andrade and is the current WWE Speed Champion in his first reign. He is also known for his appearances in Mexico for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and in Japan for New Japan Pro-Wrestling under the ring name La Sombra and for the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name Andrade El Idolo.
Cándido Robles Cruz is a retired Mexican Luchador, or professional wrestler. Cruz is best known under the ring name Gran Markus Jr. and for his work in the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Cruz originally worked under the name "Tony Benetto" but in the late 1980s he changed to being an enmascarado, or masked wrestler, taking the name Gran Markus Jr. Cruz is not related to wrestler Gran Markus – it is a storyline relationship. Cruz has both teamed with and fought against the original Gran Markus. Cruz lost the "Gran Markus Jr." mask on June 29, 1997 when he lost a Luchas de Apuesta match, or "bet match" to Mil Máscaras.
Sin Piedad (2000) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), which took place on December 15, 2000, in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The 2000 Sin Piedad was the first event under that name that CMLL promoted as their last major show of the year, always held in December. The main event of the pay-per-view was a Lucha de Apuestas, hair vs. hair match between Cien Caras and Perro Aguayo. The show also featured a tag team match for the CMLL World Tag Team Championship where the champions Los Guerreros del Infierno defended the championship against the team of El Hijo del Santo and Negro Casas. The show featured an additional tag team match and three six-man "Lucha Libre rules" tag team matches.
The CMLL 67th Anniversary Show was a major professional wrestling event, scripted and produced by the Mexican lucha libre wrestling company Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre that took place on September 29, 2000 in CMLL's home arena Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico. The show was the biggest show of the year for CMLL, considered their version of the Super Bowl or WrestleMania. This was the 72nd EMLL/CMLL Anniversary show. The event commemorated the 67th anniversary of CMLL, the oldest professional wrestling promotion in the world. The CMLL Anniversary Show series is the longest-running annual professional wrestling show, starting in 1934.
The term Mini-Estrella is used in lucha libre to describe a division of short professional wrestlers or luchadors, some of whom have dwarfism. The Mexican Mini-Estrellas are comparable to midget wrestlers who compete internationally, but with the notable exception that some of the Mini-Estrellas do not have dwarfism but are simply short. Some Mini-Estrellas have later on moved on to work as regular sized competitors. The Mini-Estrellas have been featured in several promotions outside Mexico, most notably World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA).

He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of La Facción Ingobernable. He is best known for his 11 year tenure with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), originally working under the ring name Dragon Lee, before he was given the ring name and mask of Místico, after the original Místico had left CMLL to work for WWE.

The Arena México 60th Anniversary Show was a major professional wrestling show produced by the Mexican lucha libre professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and took place on April 29, 2016, in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico. The annual event commemorates the 1956 opening of Arena México, nicknamed "The Cathedral of Lucha Libre", CMLL's main venue and the largest arena ever built specifically for professional wrestling.
The Arena Naucalpan 15th Anniversary Show was a major annual professional wrestling event produced and scripted by Promociones Moreno in conjunction with the professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), which took place on December 16, 1992 in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. As the name implies the show celebrated the 15th Anniversary of the construction of Arena Naucalpan, Promociones Morenos main venue, in 1977. In 1996 Promociones Moreno became International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), maintaining the annual Arena Naucalpan Anniversary tradition. The show became IWRG's longest-running show and is the fourth oldest, still held annual show in professional wrestling.
