Manfred Müller is a German former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Müller began his career with Schwarz-Weiß Essen, before moving to Wuppertaler SV in 1971. Wuppertal immediately earned promotion to the Bundesliga, and finished a surprising third in their first season in the top-flight. The title challenge was not to repeated, however, and the club struggled against relegation in 1973–74, and dropped down the following year. After Wuppertal's failure to bounce back in their first season, Müller left, moving south to in 1976 to join 1. FC Nürnberg. In his second season at Nürnberg, they won promotion, beating Rot-Weiss Essen in a playoff, only to be relegated the following year. Müller was on the move again, and after a brief spell at ESV Ingolstadt, moved on to Bayern Munich, ostensibly as cover for Walter Junghans. He did, though, manage a few decent runs in the first team, including an appearance in the 1982 European Cup Final, but eventually lost his place to the incoming Jean-Marie Pfaff, before retiring in 1984. He returned to 1. FC Nürnberg as general manager, and made a surprise return to action in November 1986, starting a Bundesliga fixture because of an injury to Andreas Köpke. He now runs a television production company. In 1983, he played for the Calgary Mustangs of the Canadian Professional Soccer League.
Wes Lysack is a former professional Canadian football defensive back. He most recently played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the first round with the fifth overall pick in the 2003 CFL Draft. He played CIS Football for the University of Manitoba after playing his freshman year for Rutgers.
Mewata Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It was the home stadium of the Calgary Stampeders, both before and after the formation of the Canadian Football League in 1958, until they moved to McMahon Stadium for the 1960 season, where the team still plays.
Ja'Gared Deniandruis Davis is an American and Canadian football defensive end and outside linebacker for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He won his first Grey Cup as a member of the Calgary Stampeders 106th Grey Cup championship team. He played college football at Southern Methodist University. He was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
Shane Bergman is a retired Canadian football offensive lineman who played in seven seasons for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a two-time Grey Cup champion having won in 2014 and 2018 and was a CFL-All Star in 2019. He played CIS football at the University of Western Ontario and attended Waterford District High School in Waterford, Ontario.
