Fred Oware is a Ghanaian politician and the first Chief Executive Officer of Bui Power Authority,the administrative body of the Bui Dam which is Ghana's third hydroelectric power generation plant and also second largest. [1] Change of government in 2008 when the National Democratic Congress was elected into office saw him replaced with a new CEO Jabesh Amissah-Arthur. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and served as the party's first National Vice Chairman until 2013. He is currently the party's second vice chairman and the current CEO of Bui Power Authority,brought in after the NPP regained power in Ghana's 2016 Elections. He is an entrepreneur and once the owner of Choice FM. Mr. Oware is a philanthropist who has donated so much to the poor and needy in society but has a penchant for avoiding the cameras in his numerous philanthropic acts. [1]
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is a centre-right and liberal-conservative political party in Ghana. Since the democratisation of Ghana in 1992,it has been one of the two dominant parties in Ghanaian politics,with its leading rival being the centre-left National Democratic Congress (NDC). John Kufuor of the NPP was President of Ghana from 2001 to 2009. At the elections held on 7 December 2004,the party won 129 out of 230 seats. The NPP candidate was Kufuor,who was re-elected as president with 52.75% of the vote. The New Patriotic Party symbol is the African elephant and the New Patriotic Party colours are red,white,and blue.
Oware is an abstract strategy game among the mancala family of board games played worldwide with slight variations as to the layout of the game,number of players and strategy of play. Its origin is uncertain but it is widely believed to be of Ashanti origin.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is a social democratic political party in Ghana,founded by Jerry Rawlings,who was Head of State of Ghana from 1981 to 1993 and the President of Ghana from 1993 to 2001. Following the formation of the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC),which ruled Ghana following the military coup d'état on 31 December 1981,there was pressure from the international community to restore democracy. The NDC was formed as the ruling party ahead of elections in 1992,in which Rawlings was elected president,and in 1996 Rawlings was re-elected as the NDC candidate. Rawlings' second term ended in 2001.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is the governing body of association football in Ghana,based in Accra. Founded in 1957,the association was dissolved with "immediate effect",according to Minister of Sport,Isaac Kwame Asiamah,on 7 June 2018,after the uncovering of a corruption scandal. The Bui Dam is a 400-megawatt (540,000 hp) hydroelectric project in Ghana. It is built on the Black Volta river at the Bui Gorge,at the southern end of Bui National Park. The project is a collaboration between the government of Ghana and Sino Hydro,a Chinese construction company. Construction on the main dam began in December 2009. Its first generator was commissioned on 3 May 2013,and the dam was inaugurated in December of the same year.

Louis Casely-Hayford was a Ghanaian chartered engineer who served as the third CEO of the Volta River Authority (VRA) from 1980 to 1991. He was CEO of the VRA when the master-plan for extension of electricity to the northern parts of Ghana was conceived. He led the creation of the VRA Training School,which trained engineers,technicians and other disciplines needed to support the power sector of Ghana. Casely-Hayford also played monumental roles as CEO in the development of Kpong Power Project.
