Jan Peeters the Elder or Johannes Peeters was a Flemish Baroque painter and draughtsman. He is known for his seascapes often depicting stormy seas and shipwrecks as well as for his topographical drawings.

Jan Baptist Jaspers, also John Baptist Gaspars, a native of Antwerp, was a scholar of Thomas Willeborts. He visited England during the civil war, and was much employed by General Lambert. After the Restoration he became an assistant to Sir Peter Lely, and afterwards to Sir Godfrey Kneller. He drew well, and excelled in making designs for tapestry. The portrait of Charles II in the hall of the Painter-Stainers' Company, and that of the same king in the hall of St. Bartholomew's Hospital, were painted by him. He died in London in 1691.

Pieter Nason was a Dutch painter. He became a member of the Guild of Painters of The Hague in 1639, and in 1656 was one of the forty seven members who established the 'Pictura Society. From a MS. by Pieter Terwesten, it appears not improbable that Nason was a pupil of Jan van Ravensteyn; and it is believed that his name has been effaced from pictures since attributed to Mierevelt, Moreelse, and above all to Ravensteyn. It is certain that he painted the portrait of Prince Mauritz, Governor of the Brazils, engraved by Houbraken, and those of Charles the Second of England, engraved by C. Van Dalen and Sandrart, and of the Grand Elector. At Berlin there is a full-length portrait, dated 1667, of the latter, by Nason; also a still life, representing gold, silver, and glass vessels, likewise a portrait by him signed and dated 1670. There are others at Copenhagen and at Rotterdam. The date of his death is not known, but his life was long. Redgrave gives the initial of his Christian name wrongly as R.

Gaspar Bouttats the Elder or Gaspard Bouttats the Elder was a Flemish printmaker and engraver of the Baroque period.
Philibert Bouttats, a Flemish engraver, the son of Frederik Bouttats the Younger, was born at Antwerp about the year 1650, and died at the age of 72. His prints consist chiefly of portraits, and are rather neatly engraved. The following portraits are by him:
André Bouys, a French portrait painter and mezzotint engraver, was born at Hyères about the year 1656. He studied under François de Troy, and acquired sufficient reputation to gain admission into the Academy in 1688, when he presented a portrait of the painter Charles de La Fosse, now at Versailles, where there are likewise two portraits of himself, one of them representing also his first wife. He died in Paris in 1740, having engraved several portraits, among which are the following:

Abraham de Bruyn was a Flemish engraver. He established himself at Cologne about the year 1577. He is ranked among the Little Masters, on account of his plates being usually very small. He engraved in the manner of Wierix, and worked entirely with the graver, in a neat and formal style, but his drawing is far from correct. It is believed that he worked also as a goldsmith. Among his portraits, and prints of small friezes of hunting, hawking, &c., which are esteemed for their neatness, may be mentioned:
Charles-Étienne Gaucher, a French engraver, born in Paris in 1740, was first a pupil of Basan, and afterwards of J. P. Le Bas. He died in Paris in 1804.
Frederik Bouttats the Elder or Frederik Bouttats (I) was a Flemish painter, engraver, printmaker and dealer in prints. He is known for his reproductive prints after famous painters and portraits. He was also involved in the production and sales of devotional prints. There is some confusion about the attribution of works to various artists called Frederik Bouttats. To him have been attributed some landscapes with the garden of Eden in the style of Jan Brueghel the Elder.
