Fredrik Thomander is a Swedish songwriter, [1] [2] bassist and producer. [3] For many years he performed in Swedish pop bands. He has written and produced songs, mainly of pop music, for various singers and bands, [4] [5] and he operates a recording studio in Mallorca.
Thomander grew up in Tångaberg. As a teenager he played in a band called White Line. [6]
After playing together in local bands in the 1980s, Thomander and writer Anders Wilkström continued to write songs, sometimes under the name Epicenter. [1] Epicenter songwriting collaborations have included Lamont Dozier, Anne Roboff, and Robbie Nevil. [7] Many of the pair's songs have been recorded by pop music bands, including ATC, Dream Street, A*Teens and LMNT. [8]

Thomander sang and played bass in the band Vildsvin (Wild Boar) in the 1990s. [10] [11]
He is the co-composer of Leaving Home by Nicke Borg which was in the finals of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest [12] and spent 9 weeks on the Swedish charts, peaking at #9 [13] He played bass in the band Treat beginning in 2013. [14]
In 2016 Thomander opened Palma Music Studios in Mallorca. [15]
HammerFall is a Swedish power metal band from Gothenburg. The band was formed in 1993 by ex-Ceremonial Oath guitarist Oscar Dronjak.
Meshuggah is a Swedish extreme metal band formed in Umeå in 1987. Shinedown is an American rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed by singer Brent Smith in 2001 after the dissolution of Dreve, his previous band. Pop 'til You Drop! is the third studio album by Swedish pop group A-Teens, released in 2002 exclusively in North America and Argentina. Recorded between 2001 and 2002 in Stockholm, Sweden, the album saw the group having more involvement in the composition of the album, with the members having co-writing credits on several of the tracks. The first single from the album was a cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love", which was part of Lilo & Stitch's soundtrack. The second and final single from the album was "Floorfiller". The song "This Year" later appeared on the Kim Possible soundtrack.
Talisman was a Swedish hard rock band. Founded in 1989 by the songwriting bassist Marcel Jacob and fronted by the American singer Jeff Scott Soto, the band released seven studio albums from 1990 to 2006, before going on a farewell tour in 2007.
