Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy, popularly known as YSR was an Indian politician. He served as the 14th chief minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2004 to 2009. Reddy was elected four times to the Lok Sabha from Kadapa and to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly for five terms from the Pulivendula, winning every election he contested.

He is the founder and president of the Indian political party, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP). He is also the son of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Devireddy Sudheer Reddy is an Indian politician elected to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 2009 and Telangana Legislative Assembly in 2018 for the Lal Bahadur Nagar constituency. Reddy won the seat against Mudda Ram Mohan Goud of BRS by 17,848 votes, with the former polling 113,980 votes and the latter 96,132. Previously, he served as the Chairman of the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority from 2004 to 2008. He was appointed Musi River Development Front Corporation Limited Chairman by Telangana government in February, 2020 for a period of three years.

Andhra Pradesh, retrospectively referred to as United Andhra Pradesh, Undivided Andhra Pradesh or Ummadi Andhra Pradesh, was a state in India formed by States Reorganisation Act, 1956 with Hyderabad as its capital and was reorganised by Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The state was made up of three distinct cultural regions of Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra. The 2019–2023 Amaravati protests, simply known as Amaravati protests, are ongoing demonstrations in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh triggered by the idea of changing the one capital of Amaravati already identified and developed partially, to three capitals of Amaravati, Visakhapatnam and Kurnool by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. This led to concerns that the decision would create chaos and insecurity for farmers who gave their fertile agricultural lands to the government in 29 villages of Guntur and Krishna districts. The protests began in Mandadam, Thullur, Uddandarayunipalem on 18 December 2019. In a few days, the protests spread across Andhra Pradesh Capital Region, in Andhra Pradesh. On 17 December 2020, series of events were done to mark the protests' anniversary.
Navaratnalu are a set of nine welfare schemes introduced by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, as promised during Praja Sankalpa Yatra before 2019 assembly elections.
Praja Sankalpa Yatra was a foot march that was undertaken by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy starting 6 November,r 341 days till 09 January 2019, when he walked over 3,648 km and met around two crore people. This was done in the run up to the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. The YSR Congress Party has claimed it to be the largest Padayatra by any Indian politician till date.
Dr. YSR Aarogyasri is an upgradation of Andhra Pradesh's government healthcare scheme Aarogyasri which was launched by the late chief minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy in 2007. The scheme has been revamped into Dr. YSR Aarogyasri by chief minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in January, 2020 upgrading the scheme by adding new benefits to it.
The Twentieth ministry of United Andhra Pradesh of the state of United Andhra Pradesh was formed on 14 May 2004 headed by Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy as the Chief Minister following the 2004 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. 24 member ministry was formed on 22 May 2004. The council of ministry was initially formed with 25 members including the chief minister. Later expanded on 26 April 2007 with 17 members taking the total number of members in the council to 41.
