Frida was a biweekly teens' magazine published in Sweden. [1] [2] The magazine was in circulation between 1981 and 2022. [3] Ove Jerselius was the founder of Frida which targeted teenaged girls. [3] Its headquarters was in Stockholm. [2]

Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad, also known simply as Frida, is a Norwegian-born Swedish singer who is best known as one of the founding members and lead singers of the pop band ABBA. Courtesy titles Princess Reuss and Countess of Plauen are also in use because of her third marriage. Born in Bjørkåsen (Ballangen), Norway, to a Norwegian mother and a German father, she grew up in Torshälla, Sweden, and started her first solo career there, as a jazz singer in 1967, through a talent competition called New Faces.

"Ring Ring" is a song by Swedish group ABBA, released as the title track of their 1973 debut album. The single gave the group their big break in several European countries (although the rest of Europe, North America and Australia would be introduced to ABBA the following year). The song was written in Swedish by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, along with their manager Stig Anderson, with an original title of "Ring Ring (Bara du slog en signal)" ("Ring Ring (If Only You Called)"). Translation into English lyrics was helped by Neil Sedaka and his collaborator Phil Cody. The Swedish version reached No. 1 in the Swedish charts.

Frida – The Mixes is a remix album by Swedish singer Anni-Frid Lyngstad, under the name of Frida, from her 1996 album Djupa andetag. This album was released exclusively in Germany in 1998. It was compiled by Stefan Bürger who was keen of the idea providing the mixes used, as bonus tracks to fans outside Sweden.

She was Swedish Rower of the year in 2006, and won a bronze medal at the women's single scull at the 2006 World Rowing Championships on Dorney Lake Eton.

Frida Karlsson is a Swedish cross-country skier. She won a silver medal in the women's 10 kilometres classical, bronze medal in the women's 30 kilometre freestyle mass start, and gold as a member of the women's 4 × 5 kilometre relay during the 2019 FIS World Championships in Seefeld in Tirol, Austria. With this win, she became the youngest cross-country skiing World Cup gold medalist in history. In April 2018, she received a 50,000 Swedish kronor prize for promising new skiers from former skier Johan Olsson and a bank. The award also gave her the opportunity to use Olsson as a mentor. Karlsson is the daughter of former cross-country skier Ann-Marie Karlsson.

Magnus Westman is a Swedish ski jumper. He competed at the 1992 Winter Olympics and the 1994 Winter Olympics. His daughter Frida competed in ski jumping at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Frida's Songs is a 1930 Swedish comedy film directed by Gustaf Molander and starring Elisabeth Frisk, Bengt Djurberg and Tore Svennberg. It was shot at the Råsunda Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Vilhelm Bryde.
