Referred to as the "Most Iconic Latino Pop Music Band", Menudo has been ranked as one of the Biggest Boy Bands of All Time by several publications, including Billboard, Us Weekly, Seventeen, and Teen Vogue, being the only Latin band on their lists.
Los Lobos are an American rock band from East Los Angeles, California. Their music is influenced by rock and roll, Tex-Mex, country, zydeco, folk, R&B, blues, brown-eyed soul, and traditional music such as cumbia, boleros and norteños. The band rose to international stardom in 1987, when their version of Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, and also topped the charts in the United Kingdom, and several other countries. Songs by Los Lobos have been recorded by Elvis Costello, Waylon Jennings, Frankie Yankovic, and Robert Plant. In 2015, they were nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2018, they were inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame. They are also known for performing the theme song for Handy Manny.
Fiel a La Vega is a Rock en Español band from Puerto Rico formed in 1994. The band consisted of members Tito Auger and Ricky Laureano, who come from the northern city of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, along with brothers Pedro and Jorge Arraiza, who come from the neighboring city of Vega Baja. Their hometown is what gave name to the band. Since 1996, they were joined by percussionist Papo Román, who left the band in 2006 to spend time with his family.
Los Prisioneros were a Chilean rock/pop band formed in San Miguel, Santiago, in 1983. They are considered one of the most important Chilean bands, and one of the strongest musical influences that Chile has made to Latin American music. In addition, they are considered pioneers of Rock en español by Latin American media and musicians, and the band with strongest socio-political impact in Chile. Their roots date back to March 1979, when their core members entered high school. From their beginnings in 1983 at the Festival de la Canción del Colegio Miguel León Prado to their first limited release album in Chile under the record label "Fusión Producciones", they struggled to make themselves known until they were able to sign with EMI Records in 1985, re-releasing their first album on LP record and cassette. From that point on, they reached mainstream success in Chile, then in Peru. Los Prisioneros created a simple punk sound with a mix of rockabilly, reggae, and then rock pop and synthpop.

Sueños Líquidos is the fifth studio album recorded by Mexican rock band Maná, It was released by WEA Latina on October 14, 1997. After its release for the first time in over 36 countries across the globe, the band began to receive wide international attention, especially in Spain and the U.S., where the album sold over one million copies. This album was born of the desire to create an environment where water, a vital element, has an important presence. Because of this, the record was recorded in the coastal city of Puerto Vallarta, an important location in the creative atlas of Maná. Sueños Líquidos garnered Maná its first Grammy Award, for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Performance. The album was given a Premio Lo Nuestro award for "Pop Album of the Year" which was shared with Shakira for "¿Dónde están los ladrones?. It was released on DVD-Audio format in 2001. As of 2000, it sold 5 millions of copies.

The album was met with both positive reviews by critics and popularity, especially in Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. The first single released from the album was "Crimen", which received airplay starting in April 2006 and gained huge popularity in Latin America and Spain. The second single, released in September was "La Excepción". The album was certified Platinum in Argentina with only pre-ordered sales, and attained Gold status in Mexico.

Fabián Andrés González Amado, known by his stage name Tweety González, is an Argentine musician and record producer. González is mostly known for playing the keyboard for Argentine rock band Soda Stereo and Argentine musician Fito Páez. Tweety is also a music producer and has worked with artists Shakira, Gustavo Cerati, Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Superlitio, Famasloop and several others. Gustavo Cerati's 2006 Ahí vamos in which Tweety played keyboards won the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Solo Vocal Album.

To date, it has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, becoming the Best-selling Spanish language rock album of all time.
