The Moderate Party, commonly referred to as the Moderates, is a liberal-conservative political party in Sweden. The party generally supports tax cuts, the free market, civil liberties and economic liberalism. Globally, it is a full member of the International Democracy Union and the European People's Party.

As Disney comics production waned in the United States in the 1960s, Kalle Anka began printing more European-produced content, from Scandinavia and Italy. Now, Kalle Anka & C:o and its Scandinavian sister editions Anders And & Co. (Denmark) and Donald Duck & Co (Norway) are identical, apart from the language.
Musikhjälpen is a Swedish televised benefit performance radio show marathon. The annually recurring show is a charity fundraiser for a chosen cause, the cause is changed each year. Three radio hosts or television personalities are locked inside a glass building for 144 hours. Each presenter acts as a host for eight hours respectively, totaling three shifts per day. It is broadcast in December, during one week, with dates varying each year.

After studying at Konstfack in Stockholm he started working as an animator under Stig Lasseby, and later went on to direct by himself. Östen med Resten is a Swedish music group from Hälsingland. It was formed in 1985. The original members were Östen Eriksson, Jens Kristensen and Nisse Damberg. The name, which literally means "Östen with the rest", was coined by Lasse Berghagen in 1986, when the band was to perform in Järvsö together with the singer Lill-Babs. It is a pun on "Östen med Rösten", which was the sobriquet of Östen Warnerbring.
