Jean Merilyn Simmons, OBE was a British-American actress and singer. One of J. Arthur Rank's "well-spoken young starlets", she appeared predominantly in films, beginning with those made in Great Britain during and after the Second World War, followed mainly by Hollywood films from 1950 onwards.
Solange Piaget Knowles, also known mononymously as Solange, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. Expressing an interest in music from an early age, Knowles had several temporary stints as a backup dancer for Destiny's Child, which featured among the members her sister, before signing with her father Mathew Knowles's Music World Entertainment label. At age 16, Knowles released her first studio album Solo Star (2002). Between 2005 and 2007, Knowles had several minor acting roles, including the direct-to-video Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006) and continued writing music for her older sister Beyoncé Knowles and for former Destiny's Child group members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Soulsation! is a 4-CD box set of music performed by the Jackson 5 throughout their tenure in Motown spanning from 1969 to 1975, when they left for CBS Records. Released in 1995, it was released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the year the group became the first group to have their first four releases go straight to #1 on the Billboard charts, and featured an intro from the group's baby sister Janet, liner notes from David Ritz and an essay from the brothers' first producer, Bobby Taylor. The fourth disc was completed by unreleased Jackson 5 songs made mostly from mid 1969 to early 1972. The set also included solo numbers from Michael, Jermaine, and Jackie.

It features eighteen songs from his first studio albums, ranging from his 1992 debut "Life's a Dance" to 2002's "'Til Nothing Comes Between Us". The tracks "Cool" and "One Day Less" were previously unreleased, and both produced by Byron Gallimore. "Cool" was later released on Montgomery's 2004 album Letters from Home, while "One Day Less" is not on any of his other albums.
Nothing but the Best is a 2008 compilation album by American singer Frank Sinatra. All the tracks on this album are recordings made when Sinatra was on his own Reprise label, thus the first track, "Come Fly with Me" is not the 1957 Capitol version. Other notable differences are "Strangers in the Night" has an extended fade out and the first two cymbal notes are cut from the beginning of the "Theme from New York, New York".
The 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards were held in Toronto, Ontario at MuchMusic's headquarters on June 21, 2009. Along with the MuchMusic VJ's, on April 16, 2009, it was confirmed on the MuchMusic website that the Jonas Brothers would co-host the show. The show featured performances by The Black Eyed Peas, Billy Talent, Lady Gaga, Jonas Brothers, Alexisonfire, Kelly Clarkson and others. The artists with the most nominations were Nickelback and Danny Fernandes with five nominations each. Nickelback won the most awards with 3 awards.

Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now, published in 1993, is African-American writer and poet Maya Angelou's first book of essays. It was published shortly after she recited her poem "On the Pulse of Morning" at President Bill Clinton's 1993 inauguration. Journey consists of a series of short essays, often autobiographical, along with two poems, and has been called one of Angelou's "wisdom books". It is titled after a lyric in the African American spiritual, "On My Journey Now." At the time of its publication, Angelou was already well respected and popular as a writer and poet. Like her previous works, Journey received generally positive reviews.

It covers music from his earliest work in the early 1960s to his Epic releases of the late 1980s. The boxed set includes three CDs of material recorded for Capitol and one of Haggard's later MCA and Epic recordings.
Nothing Was the Same is the third studio album by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on September 24, 2013, by Cash Money Records, OVO Sound, Republic Records and Young Money Entertainment. Work on the record began in 2012 and continued through 2013. As an executive producer, Drake enlisted collaborators such as 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Majid Jordan, Jay-Z, Jhené Aiko and Sampha for guest appearances on the album. The album's production was primarily handled by 40 and other OVO Sound producers; including Boi-1da, Mike Zombie, Nineteen85 and Detail.
