The Fruitas Shakers are the team in the PBA D-League for two conferences in 2012 PBA D-League Aspirant's Cup and 2013 PBA D-League Foundation Cup. They are affiliated with Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters in PBA. Their coach is Nash Racela and most of their players are coming from San Beda College.

Controversy

On October 25, 2012, the Shakers debut with an 88-82 win over Cafe France at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig. Their win was forfeited by the league when they field in an ineligible player Joseph Eriobu in the second quarter of that game. Eriobu lack the documentary requirements to prove that he is a Filipino citizen. PBA Commissioner Chito Salud also slapped the team with a ₱25,000 fine. [1]

The San Miguel Beermen are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It is one of three PBA clubs owned by the San Miguel Corporation group of companies along with the Magnolia Hotshots and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. It is the most successful franchise in the history of the PBA and the only remaining original franchise in the league. The Beermen currently lead the league with the most titles (27) and the most all-time victories. The 2000 PBA All-Filipino Cup or known as the 2000 Alaxan PBA All-Filipino Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the first conference of the 2000 PBA season. It started on February 20 and ended on June 11, 2000. The tournament is an All-Filipino format, which doesn't require an import or a pure-foreign player for each team.

2010–11 PBA season

The 2010–11 PBA season was the 36th season of the Philippine Basketball Association. It started on October 3, 2010 and ended on August 21, 2011. The season marked the return of the original three-conference format, starting with the Philippine Cup, or the traditional All-Filipino Conference. The import-laden Commissioner's Cup returned as the second tournament, while the Governors' Cup also returned, serving as the third conference which also served as an import-laden tournament.

Calvin Abueva Filipino basketball player

Calvin Abueva is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Magnolia Hotshots of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was picked second overall by the Alaska Aces during the 2012 PBA Draft. 2013–14 PBA season

The 2013–14 PBA season was the 39th season of the Philippine Basketball Association. The season formally opened on November 17, 2013 and finished on July 9, 2014. The league continued to use the three-conference format, starting with the Philippine Cup, or the traditional All-Filipino Conference. The Commissioner's Cup and the Governors' Cup is the second and third conferences for this season.

2021 PBA Governors Cup

The 2021 PBA Governors' Cup, also known as the 2021 Honda PBA Governors' Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the second and last conference of the 2021 PBA season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The 20th edition of the Governors' Cup is scheduled to start on December 8, 2021, after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) approved the league's request. The tournament allows teams to hire foreign players or imports with a height limit of 6'6".
