Virgin Media One, also called Virgin One, is an Irish free-to-air television channel owned by Virgin Media Ireland, operated through its subsidiary Virgin Media Television. The channel was known until 30 August 2018 as TV3, becoming Ireland's first commercial television channel. Its name was changed to Virgin Media One on the same day. The channel broadcasts a mix of Irish programming and acquired programming from ITV and others.

Patrick Clarke is an Irish writer, director, producer and actor. Clarke co-wrote and produced his first feature Beyond the Pale in 1999. Based on actual events, the immigrant drama was a commercial success in Ireland, Australia and the UK and won awards at the Houston and Arizona film festivals (2000). Clarke's performance in Beyond the Pale led to roles in The Magnificent Ambersons for A&E Networks and the award-winning black comedy Stay Until Tomorrow (2004), which was developed through the Sundance Institute.
Fintan Connolly is an Irish film director, screenwriter and producer living in Dublin. Much of his earlier work was in television documentaries which explored social issues in Ireland. He has also made films, including Flick (2000), Trouble with Sex (2005) and Eliot & Me (2012) through his production company Fubar Films.

W.C. is an Irish independent film about two toilet attendants working in a jazz bar. The film premiered at the 2007 Dublin Film Festival and was screened at several other international film festivals. It won the 'best foreign film' award at the 2009 Las Vegas Film Festival and 'best feature film' at the Waterford Film Festival. The film received a broader release in 2009.

RTÉ One is an Irish free-to-air flagship television channel owned and operated by Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). It is the most-popular and most-watched television channel in the country and was launched as Telefís Éireann on 31 December 1961, it was renamed RTÉ in 1966, and it was renamed as RTÉ 1 upon the launch of RTÉ 2 in 1978. It is funded partly by the government's licence fee; the remainder of the funding is provided by commercial advertising. Because RTÉ is funded partly by the licence fee it shows considerably fewer advertisements than most other channels available in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

It features a seven-year-old girl called Zara who lives with her family in Dublin city. Filmed over six months, each episode features a small snapshot of Zara’s life. The series is produced by Fiona Bergin and filmed and directed by Fintan Connolly.
