PQM was a producer/DJ who was one half of the Hip Hop group Nubian Crackers and had also released records on labels such as Yoshitoshi Records and Renaissance. Sandwell District was a record label and multinational collective of techno DJs and producers that operated between 2002 and 2011. Their sound has been highly influential across the following generation of techno musicians, and has informed a major shift in world techno. By the time the collective announced its "glorious death" in 2012, the American Billboard magazine wrote that "Sandwell District's influence on underground techno can hardly be overstated."

Levent Faki, also known by his stage name Len Faki, is a German DJ and producer based in Berlin. Faki is of Turkish descent and is also known under the pseudonym La Monde. He has appeared as a DJ in clubs such as Ostgut in Berlin, Tresor in Berlin and U60311 in Frankfurt as well as at festivals such as Nature One, SonneMondSterne and Alive in Belgium. He made a breakthrough in 2007, when he released the successful tracks "Mekong Delta" and "My Black Sheep".

Freek Funk is a studio album by British techno producer Luke Slater, released in October 1997 by Novamute Records as his first album for the label and his first for a major label. The album was among Slater's most personal works to date, and his intention for the album was to record music that went beyond the four-to-the-floor nature of techno and push the genre's barriers, resulting in an eclectic, minimal album that also incorporates funk, acid techno and electro styles. The album varies in tone, with aggressive techno tracks and softer, less upbeat material.
Danielle Gooding, professionally known as Flava D, is a British UK garage, grime and bassline DJ and music producer from Bournemouth, England. She was previously signed to the Butterz record label and is now signed to Hospital Records. She is one third of the UK garage act TQD, alongside fellow producers Royal-T and DJ Q.
"Process" is the 2017 debut EP by the techno group LSD, formed that year by Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell, and Function. The tracks are described as focused on "the psychedelic aspects of techno", and an "interpretation of stroboscopic intensity on the summit of psychedelic experiences - permeated with moments of hypnotic and atonal melodies".
