Funerus is an American death metal band [1] [2] [3] [4] from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, that was originally formed in 1990. The band is a current death metal side project of John McEntee of Incantation and his now ex-wife Jill. Funerus has released two full-length studio albums on Ibex Moon Records. [5]

Mortician is an American death metal band from Yonkers, New York, founded in 1989. They have released most of their albums since the House by the Cemetery EP on Relapse Records, but have released their latest album on their own label, Mortician Records. They have toured several times through America and Europe. The band is heavily inspired by horror movies, which is expressed in the lyrics, the artwork, and the use of samples throughout their discography.

Stuck Mojo is an American rap metal band from Atlanta, formed in 1989 by bassist Dwayne Fowler. The band is considered to be one of the pioneers of rap metal. They have toured alongside bands such as Machine Head and Slapshot. Stuck Mojo's most successful album, Rising, peaked at No. 48 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. The band disbanded in 2000, reforming five years later. In 2006, their original vocalist, Bonz, was replaced by rapper Lord Nelson. Stuck Mojo released their seventh studio album, Here Come the Infidels, via Pledge Music in 2016. In the press release, the band also announced the addition of two new members, Robby J. Fonts (vocals) and Len Sonnier (bassist). To date, they have released seven studio albums and one live album.

The Blinded is a melodic death metal band from Karlshamn, Sweden, formerly known as both Stigmata and Blinded Colony. They are currently unsigned and recording the pre-preproduction of their third studio album. They released an EP in 2010 containing six new tracks.

On December 27, 2011, they released their first single, "Eight of Swords", to promote their debut album, Spell Eater.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Newsted</span> American heavy metal band

Newsted is an American heavy metal band formed in October 2012. The first lineup was led by Jason Newsted on bass and lead vocals, along with drummer Jesus Mendez Jr., rhythm guitarist Jessie Farnsworth, with Staind lead guitarist Mike Mushok joining in 2013. The band released the four-song EP Metal on January 8, 2013, and followed up with the full-length debut album Heavy Metal Music on August 6, 2013. Guitarist Mushok stated that there are no plans for the band to regroup for any further touring or recording, explaining that Jason Newsted "shut down" the project in early 2014. Newsted broke silence in 2016 to explain having been overwhelmed with projects.
