Tigerlily is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Natalie Merchant, released on June 20, 1995. It is her first solo album after splitting from 10,000 Maniacs. Some reviews of the album praised Merchant's confessional writing style while others criticized the same for undue sentimentality.

The band was signed to Tooth & Nail Records and its imprint, BEC Recordings, before becoming an independent band. Adam MacDougall was born in August 1974 in New York City, New York. MacDougall is the keyboardist who replaced Rob Clores in The Black Crowes in time to record Warpaint in July 2007. Previously, he was a member of The Ben Taylor Band and Furslide, and he has also toured with Macy Gray and Patti Rothberg.
"The Real Thing" is a song by American singer Gwen Stefani from her debut solo studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. (2004). It was written by Stefani, Linda Perry and her then-husband Gavin Rossdale, who is credited as "GMR". Nellee Hooper produced the song, with Mark "Spike" Stent serving as an additional producer. A Europop and synth-pop ballad, "The Real Thing" talks about mutual love between two lovers. Interscope Records released the song as a promotional single exclusively in the Philippines a year after the album's release. It was released as a CD single featuring a remix by Wendy and Lisa. The remix was also included on the deluxe edition of L.A.M.B., as well as on the international version of the album.
Chris Robinson Brotherhood was an American blues rock band formed in 2011 by Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson while the Crowes were on hiatus. The original lineup consisted of Robinson, Neal Casal, Mark Dutton, George Sluppick (drums), and Adam MacDougall (keyboards). Since 2015, the band had undergone various personnel changes with Robinson and Casal remaining the only constant members. Following the death of Neal Casal in August 2019 the Chris Robinson Brotherhood would disband.
