GMV Nashville is a digital record label based in Nashville, Tennessee, founded by Jeff Walker in 2007. [1]
Walker founded the label primarily to release digital versions of classic releases from Con Brio Records, which was founded by Walker and his father, Bill Walker. Con Brio Records was active from 1975 to 1979 and won Billboard Magazine's "Best New Label Of The Year" in 1977. [2]
GMV Nashville's first releases included out-of-print material from Con Brio artists Terri Hollowell, Dale McBride, Lori Parker, and Don King. [2] It later expanded its catalog to include contemporary artists such as Lane Brody, Maggie Sajak, Exile, Amber Hayes special releases from the Charlie Daniels Band, Toy Caldwell's only solo album, and compilations such as the This Is My America collection. Monument Records is an American record label in Washington, D.C. named for the Washington Monument, founded in 1958 by Fred Foster, Buddy Deane, and business manager Jack Kirby. Buddy Deane soon left the company, and in the early '60s bought KOTN in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where he lived in retirement until his death. Foster and Kirby relocated to the Nashville suburb of Hendersonville, Tennessee. Monument's releases include a variety of genres including rock and roll, country, jazz, and rhythm and blues.
Adam Gregory is a Canadian country music singer-songwriter and actor. Active since 2000, he has recorded four studio albums to date, including The Way I'm Made (2000) and Workin' on It (2002), both on Epic Records, and a self-titled album in 2006 on Mensa Records. He has charted several singles on the Canadian country music charts, including two singles which were also Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in the United States. In 2010, Gregory starred in WWJD, a film-based on In His Steps by Charles Sheldon.
Terri Lynn Sauson, known professionally as Terri Clark, born August 5, 1968, is a Canadian country music singer who has had success in both Canada and the United States. Signed to Mercury Records in 1995, she released her self-titled debut that year. Both it and its two follow-ups, 1996's Just the Same and 1998's How I Feel, were certified platinum in both countries, and produced several Top Ten country hits.
The Volunteer Jam is a sporadically-held concert series headlined by the Charlie Daniels Band, featuring a multitude of musical acts that perform onstage with the band. It was first held on October 4, 1974, at the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.
Toy Talmadge Caldwell Jr. was the lead guitarist and main songwriter of the 1970s Southern Rock group The Marshall Tucker Band. A founding member of the band, Caldwell remained with the group until 1983. In addition to his role as lead guitarist, he was also the band's steel guitarist and performed lead vocals including on one of the band's best-known hits, "Can't You See."

From 1991 to 1995, Capitol Nashville was known as Liberty Records, before returning to the Capitol Nashville name in 1995. While under the Liberty name, the label operated short-lived sister label Patriot Records from 1994 to 1995. In 1999, EMI launched Virgin Records Nashville but by 2001, Capitol absorbed the short-lived label. In 2010, the label launched sister label EMI Nashville. On March 23, 2011, Alan Jackson signed with Capitol's EMI Nashville division in conjunction with his own ACR Records label.

Con Brio Records was a record label active from 1975 to 1979 based in Nashville, Tennessee. Jeff Walker was co-founder and President of the label with his father Bill Walker. It was named Billboard Magazine's "Best New Country Label of the Year" in 1977. The main focus of the label was Country music. According to GMV Nashville, record producer Bill Walker was the arranger and producer in the late 1970s. Walker is well known for his role as musical director of the Johnny Cash television show (1969–1971), the Statler Brothers show on TNN, and the CMA awards show from the 1970s through the early 1990s. Biff Collie and Johnny K. Covell were the radio promotions staff. The record label was dormant for many years until Jeff Walker of AristoMedia in 2007 released some of the artists' albums digitally on selective online outlets. The new label was called GMV Nashville.
Donald Alan King is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and trumpeter. In the 1970s and 1980s, he recorded a total of four major label albums, and charted more than fifteen hit singles on the Billboard country music charts.

Dale McBride was an American country music singer. In the 1970s, he charted several singles on the Billboard country charts, including two Top 40 hits on the Con Brio Records label. His son is Terry McBride, who fronted the 1990s country band McBride & the Ride and has written singles for Brooks & Dunn. Dale McBride died in 1992 of a brain tumor.
