Gabriel Lee Casey (born July 15, 1999) is a Canadian rugby union player. [1]
Casey, a native of Ottawa, represented Canada at Under-18s and Under-20s level. He played for Ottawa's Bytown Blues club, before moving to British Columbia to attend the University of Victoria, where he competed in varsity rugby. In 2023, Casey was selected by the New England Free Jacks in the first round of the Major League Rugby draft. [2]
Casey made his debut for Canada off the bench against Tonga at Nukuʻalofa's Teufaiva Sport Stadium in 2023. [2]

The Ottawa Rough Riders were a Canadian Football League team based in Ottawa, Ontario, founded on September 19, 1876. Formerly one of the oldest and longest-lived professional sports teams in North America, the Rough Riders won the Grey Cup championship nine times.
