PC Music is a record label and art collective based in London and run by producer A. G. Cook. It was founded in 2013, uploading its first releases to SoundCloud that year. Artists on its roster have included Hannah Diamond, GFOTY, Danny L Harle, EASYFUN, Namasenda, and Planet 1999. The label's releases have been showcased on the compilations PC Music Volume 1 (2015), Volume 2 (2016), and Volume 3 (2022). Black Origami is the second album by American producer Jlin, first issued for streaming on May 11, 2017 and on other formats by Planet Mu on May 19, 2017. Produced in a year from 2015 to 2016, it features collaborations with William Basinski, Holly Herndon, Fawkes, and Dope Saint Jude. The title of Black Origami describes the structure of the music: the songs are complex pieces that take advantage of silence as much as sounds, similar to how an origami makes intricate art based on plain paper. Two tracks from previous Jlin extended plays appear on Black Origami: "Nandi" from Free Fall (2015) and "Nyakinya Rise" from Dark Lotus (2017).
Ez Minzoku is a studio album by Japanese electronic music producer Takahide Higuchi, known in the United States as Foodman. Two tracks on the album, "Mid Summer Night" and "Minzoku," are from a previous record by Foodman titled Are Kore (2013). Ez Minzoku is a "MIDI glitch" record that follows the same experimental style of Higuchi's other releases and consists of minimal arrangements of clean MIDI instruments such as horns, woodwinds, and human samples. It was released on May 13, 2016 by Orange Milk Records and Noumenal Loom to favorable reviews from critics and landed on numerous year-end lists.
Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides is the only solo studio album by Scottish recording artist and producer Sophie to be released during Sophie’s lifetime. It was released on 15 June 2018, through Transgressive, Future Classic and Sophie's own label, MSMSMSM. The title may be a mondegreen of the phrase "I love every person's insides". The album was Sophie's first as a solo artist, and the first to embrace her transgender identity.

Hyperpop is a loosely defined electronic music movement and microgenre that predominantly originated in the United Kingdom during the early 2010s. It is characterised by a maximalist or exaggerated take on popular music, and artists within the microgenre typically integrate pop and avant-garde sensibilities while drawing on elements commonly found in electronic, hip hop, and dance music.
Blane Muise, better known by her stage name Shygirl, is an English singer, DJ, rapper, songwriter and co-head/founder of record label and collective Nuxxe. Shygirl's music incorporates elements of dance music, industrial hip-hop, experimental pop, grime and deconstructed club. She has also been associated with the hyperpop music scene. Shygirl rose to prominence after working with close collaborator and friend Sega Bodega, as well as other well-known experimental producers Arca and Sophie, and gaining attention from the likes of Rihanna, who has used various Nuxxe tracks for her Fenty Beauty commercials and fashion shows. Shygirl has released various singles since 2016, and two EPs titled Cruel Practice and Alias. Her debut studio album Nymph was released on 30 September 2022 to widespread acclaim from music critics.
Laura Les, previously known under the moniker osno1, is an American music producer, singer and songwriter best known as one half of experimental electronic duo 100 gecs, alongside Dylan Brady.
PTP, also known as Purple Tape Pedigree, is an American artist collective and independent record label based in New York City. PTP has been called "New York’s experimental incubator", and the collective has released recordings named among the best in new experimental, hip hop, metal, avant-garde, and electronic music. Pitchfork noted that "PTP's mission seems to be to annihilate genre boundaries and revel in the brilliant debris", and VICE has called PTP "home to some of the most boundary pushing music being made".
Sherelle Camille Thomas, known mononymously as Sherelle, is a British DJ and electronic musician. With a background in dancehall and rave music, Sherelle is best known for her DJ sets and mixes. Sherelle is also known for co-founding the label Hooversound with Naina and for founding Beautiful, a label and musical project for black and LGBT musicians.
Lucrecia Dalt is a Colombian experimental musician who currently resides in Berlin. While her earlier releases were rooted in electronic dance music, her work has evolved over time to become more overtly abstract and experimental.
Jaylah Ji'mya Hickmon, known professionally as Doechii, is an American rapper and singer. After releasing her debut EP, Oh the Places You'll Go (2020), she rose to prominence on TikTok with the viral success of her 2021 song "Yucky Blucky Fruitcake". She then signed with Top Dawg Entertainment in a joint venture with Capitol Records, through which she released her second EP, She/Her/Black Bitch (2022). Her 2023 single "What It Is " marked her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 and received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Quinn Dupree, known mononymously as Quinn, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and DJ. Her second studio album, Quinn, was released on July 22, 2022.
Ayesha Erotica is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. She began releasing music online in 2015 and rose to prominence from her collaborations with pop singer Slayyyter in 2018. She left music in 2018 before returning in 2023. She is known for her sexually-charged, 2000s-inspired hyperpop music and her elusive online image.
