The Indian Express is an English-language Indian daily newspaper founded in 1932 by Ramnath Goenka from the monies of capitalists partner Raja Mohan Prasad and is held in a trust by current legal heirs for the family of Raja Mohan Prasad as per the trust deed given by Ramnath Goenka to Raja Mohan Prasad. It is published in Mumbai by the Indian Express Group. In 1999, eight years after the group's founder Ramnath Goenka's death in 1991, the group was split between the family members. The southern editions took the name The New Indian Express, while the northern editions, based in Mumbai, retained the original Indian Express name with "The" prefixed to the title.

Nilmoni Tagore (1721–1791) was a scion of Tagore family who, founded the Jorasanko branch of Tagore family leaving the old house of Pathuriaghata. In year 1758, he started to build what is now known as Jorasanko Thakur Bari. Nilmoni and Darpnarayan were two sons of Jairam Thakur, who was employed with British East India Company. While Darpnarayan developed his business and lands, Nilmoni chose to serve British and rose to the Serishtadarship of District Court. He received an amount of Rupees One lakh from his brother Darpnarayan, as a settlement amount of family dispute and shifted to Jorasanko and built house there.

Ganpati Bappa Morya is an Indian Marathi-language mythological TV series which aired on Colors Marathi. The show was produced by Mahesh Kothare under the banner of Kothare Vision. The show starred Adish Vaidya and Swaraj Yeole as Lord Ganesha. The show premiered from 24 November 2015 and stopped on 13 August 2017 completing 539 episodes.
