Gary March

Gary March is an Australian investor, the founder and former director of Concept Sports International, now known as Beyond Sportswear Limited [1] [2] and former president of the Richmond Football Club until 2013.

Gary took over the presidency from Clinton Casey in 2005, [3] after being on the Richmond Board of Directors since 2002. [4] He was replaced by Peggy O'Neal (lawyer) in late 2013. [5]

She is the first woman in AFL history to serve as a club president. The Australian Financial Review has named her in its list of "Top 100 Women of Influence". In 2019 she was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for distinguished service to Australian rules football, to superannuation and finance law, and to the advancement of women in leadership roles. She was appointed Chancellor of RMIT University in October 2021.

'Making Their Mark' is an Australian sports documentary that follows several players and staff from six different clubs that competed in the 2020 Australian Football League season that was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The seven episodes are composed of footage taken from 2500 hours of film, shot over seven months. Not only does the series cover day-to-day aspects of a footballer's professional life, it also encompasses themes of leadership, grief and racism. Critical reception of the series was generally favourable and Scott Hines stated it was worth streaming, even for an American audience.
