Gary Michael Scott (born 21 July 1984 in Sunderland) is an English cricketer. A right-handed upper-order batsman, Scott is the youngest ever first-class player for Durham, debuting in 2001 aged 17 years and 19 days.
Scott made 16 first-class appearances in 2005 and 2006 but in Durham's successful 2007 and 2008 seasons he failed to play a single first team game and was subsequently released.

Following Leicestershire's match against Loughborough MCCU, bowler Charlie Shreck was found guilty of using obscene language or gestures. This was Leicestershire's fifth fixed penalty in 12 months, resulting in them being deducted 16 points for the 2017 County Championship season.

Scott Steel is an English cricketer. He made his List A debut on 17 April 2019, for Durham County Cricket Club in the 2019 Royal London One-Day Cup. He made his T20 debut on 19 July 2019, for Durham against Northamptonshire, in the 2019 t20 Blast. He made his first-class debut on 10 September 2019, for Durham in the 2019 County Championship. Steel left Durham at the end of the 2020 season, and joined Leicestershire in October 2020.
The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season, and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship, which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six, with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90, and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
