Gary L. Stewart [1] (born July 24, 1961) [2] is an American college basketball coach and the former head men's basketball coach at the University of California, Davis. [3] In 2011, Stewart stepped down at UC Davis and became special projects administrator in the athletic department. [4] Later that year, Stewart was named men's head coach at Stevenson University. [5] He led the Mustangs in his second season to the playoffs for the first time in 7 years.
Stewart has also coached at Long Beach State, La Verne, California State University, East Bay, UC Santa Barbara, and Washington State. In 1997, he was named NCAC Co-Coach of the Year, and Bay Area Men's College Coach of the Year. [5]
Gary Bruce Williams is an American university administrator and former college basketball coach. He served as the head coach at the University of Maryland, the Ohio State University, Boston College, and American University. In 2002, he led Maryland to win the NCAA tournament championship. Williams retired after the 2010–11 season.
Robert Michael Bellotti is an American college football analyst for ESPN and ABC. He was with the University of Oregon's football program for over 20 years serving as offensive coordinator for six years, head coach for 14 years, and athletic director for one year. Bellotti is the winningest coach in Oregon football history and is credited with building the program into a major football power. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2014.

Benjamin Clark Howland is an American college basketball coach who most recently served as the men's head coach at Mississippi State University from to 2015 to 2022. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Northern Arizona University from 1994 to 1999, the University of Pittsburgh from 1999 to 2003, and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2003 to 2013. Howland became the first men's coach in modern college basketball history to be fired shortly after winning an outright power-conference title. He is one of the few NCAA Division I coaches to take four teams to the NCAA tournament.

Williams is the all-time winningest coach at UC Santa Barbara with a 19-year record of 313–260.
Joseph Dale Cravens is a former American college basketball coach. He was the head coach at Idaho, Weber State, and the interim head coach at Utah for most of a season.
Jim Sochor was an American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at the University of California, Davis from 1970 to 1988 during which time compiling a record of 156–41–5 and won 18 consecutive conference championships, then a college football record. Sochor also served as the athletic director at UC Davis from 1989 to 1991. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1999.
Herbert A. Schmalenberger was an American football, basketball, and swimming coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at University of California, Davis in 1958 and again from 1964 to 1969, compiling a record of 28–38. He was the men's swimming head coach there from 1957 to 1962 and the men's basketball head coach for the 1957–58 season. Schmalenberger was interim athletic director in 1988.

He was head men's basketball coach at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, from 1972 to 1979, University of Southern California (USC) from 1979 to 1986, and San Jose State University from 1989 to 1998.
The 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season began on November 8, 2010, with the preliminary games of the 2010 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, and ended with the 2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament's championship game on April 4, 2011, at Reliant Stadium in Houston. The tournament's first-round games occurred March 15–16, 2011, in Dayton, followed by second and third rounds on Thursday through Sunday, March 17–20. Regional games were March 24–27, with the Final Four played April 2 and 4.
