Gas Nation is Bay Area rapper J. Stalin's second album, released in 2008. Gas Nation was named Bay Area Album of the Year by SFGate.com,[ citation needed ] beating out San Quinn's From a Boy to a Man .

Earl Stevens, better known by his stage name E-40, is an American rapper. He is a founding member of the rap group The Click and the founder of Sick Wid It Records. He has released 26 studio albums to date, appeared on numerous movie soundtracks, and has also done guest appearances on a host of other rap albums. Initially an underground artist, his 1995 solo album In a Major Way opened him up to a wider audience. Beginning in 1998, he began collaborating with mainstream rappers outside the San Francisco Bay Area. He rose to higher mainstream popularity in 2006 with his single "Tell Me When to Go", which was produced by Lil Jon.
Bryan Christopher Williams, better known by his stage names Birdman or Baby, is an American rapper and record executive. He is the co-founder and public face of Cash Money Records, which he co-founded with his older brother Ronald "Slim" Williams in 1992. Hakeem Temidayo Seriki, better known by his stage name Chamillionaire, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. He began his solo career with local-tailored releases in the early 2000s, including the collaborative album Get Ya Mind Correct (2002) with fellow Houston rapper and childhood friend Paul Wall. He signed to Universal Records in 2005 and released his debut studio album, The Sound of Revenge through the label that same year. It included the singles "Ridin'" —which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 and received a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group—as well as "Turn It Up". His second album, Ultimate Victory (2007) was met with similar commercial success, becoming notable for its lack of profanity and lead single "Hip Hop Police", as well as it's accompanying music video. His pop rap-influenced 2009 single, "Good Morning" peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 was intended for inclusion on his third album Venom, which was ultimately never released.

He Had 1 Child Before his Murder, Lil Jacka He was killed in a shooting in Oakland, California, on February 2, 2015. The murder is currently unsolved.
