Geefwee Boedoe first worked as an animator for Disney and Pixar, collaborating on movies like Monsters, Inc. , where he did the main title design, Finding Nemo , The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Beauty and the Beast . He is sometimes credited as Gee Fwee Boedoe. Some of his work was shown in a travelling Pixar exposition, [1] and in the book "The Art of Finding Nemo". [2]
He wrote and illustrated his first book, Arrowville, published by Laura Geringer and HarperCollins, in 2004. It is a book for 4- to 8-year-olds in the vein of Dr. Seuss . [3]
Arrowville was selected as one of the 10 best illustrated children's books of 2004 by The New York Times Book Review , [4] and won the 2004 Reuben Award for Book Illustration from the National Cartoonists Society. [5]

Finding Nemo is a 2003 American animated comedy-drama adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. As a character animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios for 38 years (1974–2012), he worked on feature films including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Tarzan and Tangled. Knick Knack is a 1989 American animated short film produced by Pixar that was written and directed by John Lasseter. The short is about a snow globe snowman who wants to join the other travel souvenirs in a summer-themed party. However, the glass dome that surrounds him prevents him from doing so, thus leading to his many tries to break out of his snow globe. Knick Knack is Pixar's fourth short and the final short produced during the company's tenure as a hardware company. It was also the final Pixar short film released before the company's first feature-length film Toy Story.

The plot features a young gay man who has not yet come out to his parents, who unexpectedly has his mind magically swapped with his dog's. The seventh short film in the SparkShorts series, it is both Disney's and Pixar's first short to feature a gay main character and storyline, including an on-screen same-sex kiss. The short was released on Disney+ on May 22, 2020. The short was shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 93rd Academy Awards.
