Geir Sundal

Geir Sundal (born 1968) is a retired Norwegian football defender.

He played for IL Hødd as early as in 1985. [1] He eventually became team captain. [2] He participated in their promotion to the highest level after the 1994 season. [3] He played some matches in the 1995 Norwegian Premier League. He later became sporting director in Hødd.

It is best known for their men's football team, which since 2015 plays at Høddvoll, whose stated capacity is 4,081. The club's old home ground, Høddvoll Stadion, holds the record attendance of over 12,000 spectators at a match against Vålerenga in 1981.

Høddvoll Stadion is a multi-sports stadium in Ulsteinvik in Ulstein, Norway. It was the home ground of 2. divisjon side IL Hødd until 2014. It is primary used for football and athletics with its all-weather running track. The stadium is a part of the sports complex consists of the Nye Høddvoll, surrounded by an all-weather running track, a natural grass training pitch and an artificial turf pitch, as well as an indoor hall. Høddvoll has a capacity for 4,433 spectators, of which 2,600 seated.

Kjetil Hasund is a former Norwegian football player who played for Hødd and the Norwegian national team.

The 2012 Norwegian Football Cup final was the 107th final of the Norwegian Football Cup. The final was contested by Hødd and Tromsø and took place on 25 November 2012 at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, in front of a crowd of 24,217. This was Tromsø's third final, and they had won the two previous finals in 1986 and 1996, while the Norwegian First Division side Hødd played their first final ever.
