Geneva National Golf Club is a golf course resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. It opened in 1991. [1]

From 2006 to 2008, it hosted the Aurora Health Care Championship.

It has three courses, designed by Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Lee Trevino respectively. [2]

Lee Buck Trevino is an American retired professional golfer who is regarded as one of the greatest players in golf history. He was inducted to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1981. Trevino won six major championships and 29 PGA Tour events over the course of his career. He is one of only four players to twice win the U.S. Open, The Open Championship and the PGA Championship. The Masters Tournament was the only major that eluded him. He is an icon for Mexican Americans, and is often referred to as "The Merry Mex" and "Supermex," both affectionate nicknames given to him by other golfers.

The Canadian Open is a professional golf tournament in Canada. It is co-organized by Golf Canada and the PGA Tour. It was first played 118 years ago in 1904, and has been held annually since then, except for during World War I, World War II and the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the third oldest continuously running tournament on the tour, after The Open Championship and the U.S. Open. It is the only national championship that is a PGA Tour-managed event.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions is the calendar-year opening tournament of golf's PGA Tour season, played in Hawaii on the island of Maui. The tournament was founded in 1953; for most of its history the field was restricted to golfers who won a tournament on the tour during the previous calendar year, but players who qualified for the preceding Tour Championship are now invited as well. From 1986 through 2013, it was the opening event of each tour season; the PGA Tour switched to its wrap-around season in the fall of 2013. In 2022, Cameron Smith shot the lowest 72 hole to-par score in the history of the PGA Tour. He shot 34 under par to win the tournament.

DeSales High School was a Catholic school established in 1912 in the Diocese of Rochester. It was located in the northern sector of Geneva, New York. DeSales High's mission was "to provide an academically excellent education in an intimate, faith-filled community". It was the only Catholic high school in the Finger Lakes region. DeSales closed on July 31, 2012 by the Diocese of Rochester due to financial struggles and decreasing enrollment. The final Senior class graduated in the centennial of the school.

Moonlight Basin is a private club in southwestern Montana, located in the Madison Range of the Rocky Mountains in the resort village of Big Sky. It became part of Big Sky Resort in October 2013 when it, along with ski terrain within the Club at Spanish Peaks, were bought and merged into Big Sky Resort, making it one of the largest single ski resorts in the United States, with 5,750 acres (2,330 ha) of terrain and over 30 ski lifts. Moonlight Basin features a variety of skiable area and a number of amenities, including two lodges and a golf course.

Area code 270 is a telephone area code in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) for the Commonwealth of Kentucky's western and south central counties. Area code 270 was split from area code 502 on April 19, 1999. Planning for the introduction of a second area code for the region, area code 364, was assigned in 2007. After several years of delay in activation, it was announced in December 2012 that the two area codes would be configured in an overlay plan in August 2013. Mandatory ten-digit dialing began on February 1, 2014. Numbers of the new area code were made available for assignment on March 3, 2014.

Kuopiorock Annual rock music festival in Kuopio, Finland

Kuopiorock is a Finnish two- to three-day rock music festival held annually in Väinölänniemi, Kuopio, at the turn of July and August. The first event was held in 2003. In 2012, the event celebrated its 10th anniversary and the festival was held on 27–28 July.
