Genie was born in the U.S. state of California. [3]

Career

Genie was the first American to compete on Drag Race Thailand . [4] According to Gay Times , she was the first North American, the first Hindu, and the first contestant of Indian descent to compete on Drag Race. [5] In 2019, she participated in the "All Around the World: International Drag Queens" panel at RuPaul's DragCon NYC. [6]

Gurnani became executive creative director for the Americas region of Virtue, a Vice Media-owned creative agency, in 2020. [7] Prior to that, they were appointed to lead creative for Vice Media Asia-Pacific in 2019. [8]

Since her season aired in 2018, O'Hara has been a staple of several domestic and international tours that feature Drag Race contestants, including Werq the World, Christmas Queens and Drive 'N Drag. In June 2018, she released "Queen for Tonight", her debut single. Her second single, "Crown Up", was released on May 20, 2019, along with an accompanying music video. Drag Race Thailand is a Thai reality competition television series based on the American series, RuPaul's Drag Race. The series was licensed by the Kantana Group and premiered on 15 February 2018, through streaming service Line TV. Thai drag queens, Art Arya and Pangina Heals, are co-hosts and head judges of the series.

Love was the first person to ever come out as transgender on any reality TV show. She has been described as one of the most popular drag performers in Asia, and is often called the RuPaul of Thailand. Narkprasert founded the Bangkok drag venue, House of Heals.

Araya Indra, known by the stage name Art Arya, is a Thai drag performer, designer, and stylist. She hosts Drag Race Thailand alongside Pangina Heals. She has worked in the fashion industry for three decades and has appeared on two seasons of The Face Thailand. She has been described as one of Thailand's most famous drag queens.
