He won the Essendon VFL Best and Fairest in 2013.

Ross Wright is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He won Essendon's under-19s best and fairest in 1971. Wright later played for Hobart in the Tasmanian Football League from 1975 to 1977, coming runner-up in the league best and fairest in 1976. He then spent five season with Camberwell in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning premierships in 1979 and 1981. At a representative level, Wright played for Tasmania in 1976 and the VFA from 1979–81. He finished his career playing for his old side East Ringwood.
Eddie Lake is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Lake's brother, Bruce, also played VFL football for Essendon and Footscray. Lake spent six seasons with Essendon where he was in and out of the senior team. During that time, he won a reserves premiership in 1968, was named the club's most courageous player in 1970 and was awarded the reserves best and fairest in 1972. After leaving the Bombers, Lake played with Coburg in the Victorian Football Association (VFA), winning a premiership with them in his first year. He later moved to Queensland and played for Coorparoo and Southport, as well as representing Queensland.
Keith Gent is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He played for Essendon's under-19s in 1964, winning the club best and fairest as well as representing Victoria. Gent served in the Vietnam War in 1967 and 1968 where he was wounded. He returned to Australia in 1969 and played with Essendon's reserves before transferring to Victorian Football Association (VFA) side, Preston. Gent then spent three seasons with fellow VFA club Brunswick before he became captain-coach of Reservoir where his team won consecutive premierships in 1975 and 1976. He later returned to VFL football as a coach – he was a coach of Essendon's under-19s and also an assistant coach of Fitzroy's under-19s.
Jim McColl was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He was third in the Gardiner Medal, awarded to the best and fairest player in the VFL reserves competition, in 1954 and in 1957 he won Essendon's reserves best and fairest.

He won two reserves best and fairests, in 1943 and 1944; in the latter season he was also runner-up to Footscray's Dick Wearmouth in the league reserves best and fairest. Henry later played for Williamstown and Ascot Vale before moving to Queensland where he was captain-coach of Morningside.
